MMMUT a decent college

The curriculum of the college is very outdated. it required lots of development but it is far better than aktu syllabus. i have chosen the CSE just because i like coding . I was competely unaware of the syllabus before the admission . The curriculum need improvement they used to teach subject like chemistry , physics , human valueswhich are not relevant for cse students. the curriculum not at all prepareyou for real word problem the number of classes in the college is very less so we can have extra time to learn from online platform for real world problem ourself. The teacher are not able to teach properly they need proper training befpre teaching in the colleges there are 2 semester in a year. there are 2 exam in one semster at an gap of 2.5 months. On exa is minor of 20 or 20 marks and other of 50 marks is major exam also practical conducted before major exam. The difficulty of exam is moderate to hard . You need to give proper time for exam for getting decent score

Students from 7th semester start applying for internship and from 8th semester they get placed. the placement is mainly provided by mass recuriter like wipro,tcs ,tech mahindra,infosys. they used to hire 40-50 students in bulk at an averag package of 5-10 Lpa humming bird hire about 20 students with package of 12-20LPA the highest package come from off campus it was offered bu google to one student 52 lpa many student used to get placed in apple, flipkart,amazon,google and microsoft off campus many students here are preparing for govenent job and higher studies average package is 7lpa but for cse,it and ece it is 9-12 lpa placement is very poor for core branches my plan after getting degree is to start my own start up and spread my family real estate business

I am paying 137500 yearly for my course and 27000 for hostel and 360000 for mess so total fees i am paying is 202500 . YEARLY FEES Tuition Fees= 75000 Examination charges= 10000 Registration fees=500 lab fees=1500 library fees=2000 user charges=20500(for hosteller) or 18000(for day scholar) university development and facility charges=20500 other charges=7500 hostel fees is 29000 mess fees is 36000 so total fees for day scholar is 135000 for hosteller total fees is 202500 Fees is same for all the category student Tutuion Fees Wavier Scheme There is tution fees relaxation of 75000 is given to 5% students of each branch for this students must be among top scorer of jee mains in there branch and must have family income less than 200000 student can also apply for government scholarship like up government scolarship, central government scholarship,one girl child scholarship and reliance scholarship

the annual fest is abhyuday which is conducted in april month is the major fest of the college but till know i have not attended since it will be conducted one month late after writing this review the major teach fest is techSrijan which is very good and innovative we have made robots,vehicle and drones in it. ayaas it is the sport fest of the college in which nearly all sports event are conducted its stadium. there is one finance fest too in which we used to do stock market,auction and many things more other fest include heats,electra ,avlambhan etc which are exciting and wonderful library is very big inwhich there are lakhs of books are present the seating capacity of library is 800. library is open every day except sunday. Anyone can go library from 8 am to 8 pm the classroom are modern have smart boards and 4 acs with ceiling light in all the classroom with seating capcity of 100 students but in each class there are only 70students there are one indoor stadium and one outdoor stadium. there is one football ground and lots of ground within the hostels so there is lots of place for playing there are many clubs and society in the college which are run by students like drone and iot,e-cell society , cse society , coder and developer club , google society , etc there is good time in hostel and campus due to greenery . there is one jungle behind the college too. There are many places and malls to visit in radius of 5km

the registration for hostel is very easy at the time of couselling we have to select whether we want hostels or not. There are 3 boys hostels for first year and 1 for girls. the hostel and room are alloted randomly.But student used to change room by givinng application to warden. the fees of hostel is 29000 per year and mess fees is 36000 per year so it is overall very affordable. but boys hostel are old you wpuld not like hotel for first month but after that you will love it girls hostel are very good especially new one boys hostel are old and infrastruture are very old there are lots of pg at 1 km distance from college. They are costly then hostel and there service is not good . i would personally suggest take hostel over easy

i have just applied for three colleges iet lucknow , hbtu kanpur and mmmut gorakhpur. The priority order was hbtu>iet>mmmut. i did not get desired branch in iet and hbtu so i have to come here.My percentile was 96 so don't able to get better colleges i chose this college because this college is govenment and its placements has improved in recent few years and i have read some review on internet about this college Process of admission is simple. we have to give jee exam and should apply for mmmut counselling for getting admission in btech courses. elgibility criteria you should have opted pcm in 12th and scored 60% marks(55% for sc/st) in maths, physics and one other subjects. cutoff is 94 percentile for cse branch in open category and it went to 84 percentile in internal sliding The admission is very easy and experience is good

The teacher to the student ratio in the college is good. There are 70 students per class. the faculty to the student ratio is 1:30. The teacher here well qualified most of them have done phd in their subjects but they they don't know how to convey there knowledge to students. In the first year students are taught by guest faculty and from second year onwards professor teach. i like most is Anjali Ma'am and Saroj Sir they teach us mathematics and c language. They teach by giving example and physical implemtation in real life life problem. i hate the most is PK Bharti Sir. He used to t each us engineering physics. He used to simply read the pdfg of book from smart board. he never give example to explain things. in one semester there are two exams conducted at an average gap of 2.5 months. the first exam is minor which is mainly of 20 or 30 marks and other is major exam which is of 50 marks. the practical conducted before major exam which is of 30 marks. the difficulty of exam is moderate to hard you have to give proper time to score decent in the exam. Mostly we have to learn things from youTube . the curriculum is not good it is very outdated. We have to learn from online platform for industry level knowledge

there is gym within the campus where mostly used go. there are many gym just outside the colleges too There is one cateteria and 2 canteens within the college where nearly e«everything is present the food is decent in them the library is place of intelligent people where they study till 8pm the library is closed only on sunday the night are spends in hostel as the hostel timing is 8pm after which w«entry is not allowed in the hostel for first year and for girls it is 7 pm. But for senior students timing is 10 pm. We use dto play in the hostel ground and commmon room and do gossips in the rooms. we used to watch movie and study in night. the famous plces to vist are rail museum,zoo, gorakhnath temple , ram garh taal all are within the radues of 10 km. there are many malls and theartre in radius of 5 km like zudio,reliance , v mart , orion,etc locality is very safe for both boys and girls . there are many guard in the campus for security i just want hostel time should increase in
