- Boys to girls ratio must be 2:1 The campus is full of greenery. Teachers are helpful and cooperative. Various opportunities are provided in fields of studies ,skills ,extra curricular activities
Dislikes
- Campus is small in terms of area, No proper ground for sports,not even a basketball court, access to gym and music room is allowed till 5.30 and most people have their classes over at 4 or 4.30 . Canteen doesn't have variety in food
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes all those skills required to crack the job interviews and be placed so most of the subject included are relevant. It prepares for the real world applications as well. Teaching is done through ppt. Teachers provide proper study material so purchasing for books isn't necessary. Exams are frequent with a gap of 2-3 weeks
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided in 4th sem depending on the resume. Students are sent to mnits and iits for internship opportunities. Usually you have to talk to the professor separately, its not known to many students
Placement Experience
7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are three rounds, first round small companies offering arround 3-5 lpa packages come to select. Next round companies with greater packages come and third round even greater, students are allowed to sit in all three and decide on the basis of what they got. Infosys,Tcs,amazon,paytm,wipro and other companies have visited. 98% placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Initially paid 250000 at the time of admission Now for 1 sem its approximately 156000 for academics including tution fees,development fees,institute exam fees Hostel only available for girls , fees- 36000, 2000 is room rent,electricity bill not included
Campus Life
3fests maximum in a year and small events take place. There are three main committees, sports,cultural and technical, and cubs are separate. Photography club,music club,dance club, drama club,graphic designing club,language club,and various others. Library is quite small, most books are related to curriculum, others aren't available. Classrooms can accomodate atleast 60 people . Air conditioned classrooms with projector.
Hostel Facilities
Only girl's hostel is there. 2 major shelves with 3-4 subdivisions and all the shelves are open. One window. 2 beds in one room. A single quarter with 2 rooms accomodating 4 girls. 4 girls use 1 toilet and bathroom allottedCleaning of toilet will be done but room and bathroom cleaning ,laundry will be managed by the girls. Meal is pathetic. No nutrition provided at all
Admission
Rank is the criteria for not getting selected in other esteemed colleges that I dreamt of. The degree will be provided by the main campus Mesra and the degree is quite valuable in the market. Besides I heard about the seriousness regarding the studies here so I went for this college
Faculty
Faculty members are cooperative. 75% attendance is minimum. 5-6 Modules are there in each subject in each semester. 5 subs in total approx for every sem. Mid sem and End sem question papers come from the main campus Mesra. Checking is done here. Checking is done on to the point answers.
Night Life
College is closed at 6p.m. Students aren't allowed in campus except the hostel girls. The hostel girls too have an in time of 7pm. Gym,library and music room is accessible only till 5.30pm College starts at 9pm and usually classes get over at 4pm sometimes maybe 5pm depending on schedule. Their is no night life in college. Only on fest days its allowed till 8pm
