MMMUT GORAKHPUR review

The tech branch of this college is good and you will get good coding environment. The curriculum contains special class for programming and web development from first semester . The tech subjects should be teached practically not theoretically The exams are of moderate level with one mionor and one major per semester. The exams are held in afternoon.

You will get very less internship opportunities by the college you have to find it by yourself . Btech students typically completes for 30 - 60 days after 3rd year . The roles are industrial and to train ourself

The placement starts in 8th semester . The companies visited are amazon , HCL , Tech Mahindra etc anfd no of offers are more than 400 The higest package is 42 lpa and average is 7 lpa The placement percentage is 70 percent . My plans after degree is too work in tech comapany as software engineer .

Tution fees : 135000 Hostel fees :29500 Mess fees : 36000 You all eligible for the up government scholarship if you have a domicile of up and annual family income less than 2 lakh for general and obc and less than 2.5 lakh for SC& ST category . The fees is increasing for next batch.

The technical fest is called Techsrijan which is held in december and annual cultural fest is called Abhudaya which is held in March or April. The library contains a large no of variety of books which is available for students and professors. The classes conatins AC and smart boards and mic speaker. The sports and extracurricular activites offered are great and competitions keep happening every month. There are many clubs and socities which are run by students which helps in skill development

The hostels have old infrstructure. You will get a bed , chair and table . There are rooms which contain 2 or 4 students in a room. The mess food are average and contians breakfast, lunch , snacks , and dinner. The hostels are affordable and registration are done along with physical reporting

It is the one of the best engineering state colleges . I also applied in IET Lucknow where I couldn't get my prefferred branch. But MMMUT is as good as IET , the only advantage IET gets is it's location. The admission in MMMUT is taken through jee mains . It contains it's own counselling process. The eligibility for counselling is to get more than 55 percent in 12th board for general and obc and more than 45 percent for sc and st.

The faculty is to student ratio is 1:30. The faculty's are very supportive and easily approachable either on call or student can visit to them. I like Dr. Vinay Kumar Mishra Sir , he is very supportive and helps student at any time . The best faculties are BK Pandey Sir and Vinay kumar Mishra sir. There are some faculties whose style of teaching is very old and way of paper checking is very tough especially core subjects professors. There is one minor and one major per semesters and if you start studying one week before exam you can score good. Many students fail exam especially in maths . The course curriculum is little bit irrelevant because it is too old .

My favorite hangout spot is in front of atal bhawan, late night activities are roaming around campus and the students spend time in gym , cafeterias etc after classes . These helps in making great memories with our batchmates and seniors. The timing of gym and libraries are from 9 am to 7pm . The cafeteries are open till late night . The famous hangout places are Gorakhnath Mandir and Nauka Vihar . It is very safe to roam around night
