Course Curriculum Overview
In every sem, there are 5 subjects and two labs . encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical applications. extra curricular activities like physical education are included in curriculum.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts from 6 sem.highest package of 2023 is 41 lpa . Percentage of placed students varies from branch to branch.for chemical engineering branch, it is 100%. Students going for higher studies are also nearly equal in number with students Going for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly tution fee of nit ap is 130000INR.hostel fee is 30000INR per sem.initially a caution and registration of 2,800inr will deposited per every year. Fee waiver is available for economically weaker sections with family income less than 5 lpa. No tution for sc,st,pwd students
Campus Life
Every year 1 cultural fest and 1 technical fest are organised. Cultural fest is vulcanzy and technical fest is techriya. Different type of sports competitions like intramural,inter nit are held every year .there are totally 17 clubs that are actively participating in fests
Hostel Facilities
Food is very healthy. They serve very balanced food .weekly 2 times nonveg and an egg every day.hostel facilities are provided inside campus.bathrooms are clean and room service is provided daily.Mess menu is changed every sem.
Admission
The only way to get admission into nit andhrapradesh is through jee mains examination. Cut off percentile Is 95. It is youngest nit in India. Infrastructure in nit ap is less compared to other nits. Placements are comparable to other nits colleges
Faculty
Faculty here are very qualified professionals with practical experiences in research areas. They are generally friendly towards students and follow interactive teaching. Per each sem, 2 minors,1 mid sem ,1 end sem exam are conducted.exam toughness is moderate to tough
Night Life
Nightlife in our college is very enjoyable. cantene, library are open till midnight. Students are not restricted that much. Hostel for girls are closed by 10 pm. If they want to use library,they can stay in library till 12 am
