MY EXPERIENCE AT SVNIT

This is NIT and this is one of the reason for me to choose this institute and it has one of the best teachers whose have experience to teach even at IITs and are IITs pass out. Teaching Method is good and the curriculum is sufficient for an individual to secure a good knowledge and then placement. They also introduce other courses like "Softwares in Chemical Engineering Course" which was 4 week course and covers all softwares and give basic idea of it at price of just 119rs.(They also provided certificate for it) From there side they do every possible thing to improve curriculum and help students

IT PROVIDES GOOD PLACEMENT The highest package is 55 lpa (CSE) AVERAGE PACKAGE is 10 lpa(Overall) There is atleast 70% of placement in all branches Companies like Google,Amazon, Uber , Reliance, BPCL,etc. come for recruitment (Mock interview take place for preparation of interviews) PSU also come for recruitment. My plan is to secure good rank in GATE and then complete masters and secure job in PSU.

Only sem 1) Admission fees: 3000 Institute Development Fees: 15000 Security Deposit (Refundable): 5000 During 7th sem Degree fees:2500 and Alumni Fees: 2000 will be charged And finally the total fees for 4 year Btech Course have total of 611500

There are several clubs at SVNIT which consists of sports,social service, projects and alsothe clubs for dancing,singing, literature etc. Clubs are good, they provide good environment for development of one's personality. SVNIT organise MINDBEND which is Gujarat's largest Techno-Managerial Fest.(In April) The classrooms are which projectors and a blackboard in some classroom there are smart boards too. Sports is played at very good level and all sports including football , cricket , kabbadi, badminton,etc are played at international departmental levels. Every year SVNIT team go for Inter NIT and secure good position.

I am a student from Gujarat so my first preference was to get into an College in Gujarat (it feel comfortable if u take admission in home state college).I have applied in DDU,DAIICT , NIRMA , IIIT SURAT,etc. But atlast NIT is always better than all these colleges whether in terms of study or facilities. I secured my admission by JEE MAINS examination. For CSE 99PR is required ECE98 PR is required Other Branches you can get admission at 95- 96PR *You should always try to apply in CSAB after JOSAA rounds you might get better seat

Faculty members are all well experienced in teaching field and they have published several research papers and still do research in their respective different fields. Z.V.P. Murthy sir of Chemical Dept is one of the 2% scientist in the world(in research field) There are 2 class tests 10 marks each Mid sem of 30 marks End sem of 50 marks Every week there is tutorial of each and every subject(25 marks) So Total marks=125(For no practical subjects) Total marks=150 (For practical subjects) *In some subjects tutorial are not there so there comes the total of 100 marks

There is Canteen which is open from 9am to 7 pm . In hostels there is night canteen where you can have snacks at late night. Gym has also enough equipments. There is a huge lawn at the entrance of the college. Library is large and it's a beautiful building one of the best in SVNIT. There are thousands of books for each and every field of interest. Also e-books are provided. Hostel intime is about 10.00 pm in 1st year and then no in time restriction. There is a garden besides college , the place to chill. Dumus beach is also not far away and in Surat food will be available in that locality anytime. It's very safe area. People can roam outside late night.
