Remarks

My college sucks in terms of exposure and everything seems like old here. Say for an example we have C language if i say in regard to programming and nothing else. Means in times of Python, java, kotlin and numerous other languages we have only C. There are some private college of this budget in which App labs(labs for android app development strictly) are there. But here we are provided with computer labs mainly for language and nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Couse currilculum is very sick and out-dated. You won't find it of 21st century. They tell us useless things, useless study, no practical knowledge about anything. We have to acquire those things by ourselves. I have to ask to you or to them. If we know, they know and everyone know that whatever they are teaching us is useless or unworthy, only the one who have a pereception of research in his/her latter life would appriciate that, then why we are strictly made to study all that. It's like they thing each one of us would be a scientist in our latter life.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college doesn't provide any internship. I don'g know what to say now, its because this google form says i have to type atleast 200 characters which is like i am compelled to type such useless characters.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are good. This is what the only silver line about our institite. Placement and jobs scenerio is good here. Many MNCs visit here every year. Average packages of every branch is listed on our institute's website.

College Events

2.5

There are two events in a year which are celebrated: 1. Techniti: Our institute's tech fest. Organized as if it is the best thing that I can see here but here also everyone gets disappointed. 2. Utkansh: Our institute's cultural fest. Same for this one. Nothing extraordinary about it. At the opening ceremony, you will find not difference means you can't say by watching if it's of Techniti or Utkansh.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is expensive here because : 1. I'm in a government institute. 2. The curriculum, facilities, infrastructure is not up to that level. I'm not satisfied with that if I have to compare some private institutes which charge this much I think they are better than my institute as per my knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such kind of scholarship criteria for general. Only kids of SCs, STs are well qualified to avail that. It's all because of government policies here. Policies for kids whose family income is less than 5 lakhs is also there, means kids with family income less than 5 lakhs have to pay less. It's for all, be it general or any other caste.

Campus Life

1.5

Sport is good over here, just like table tennis, badminton, basket ball, football, cricket, if someone is good at that then he/she have full liberty for that. Apart from these sports, track events are also very well appriciated here, just like all sort of racing, long jump, triple jump, etc.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostels can be better, management is not good. They spend money on useless things, just in order to show they spend. Just like they spend on flowering trees, just to show. I mean they might have spent that in getting our rooms better. One revelation I want to share here, we have an area where watercooler is present outside our hostel mess, now the useless thing to note here is, one time what they did is they vandalize the whole area of and around the watercooler and after that, they just put new tiles after breaking the previous ones. They work as if they want to show that ok we have done something out of that money which was provided.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, if we get in touch of them they help. But most of the seniors are busy in acedemics like for gate preperations or any other entrances. All they know is to study, they don't think far from that. Many seniors are good, like we have teams like Avishkar, Daksh which works on vehicles, they make their own cars by forming a team for the same.

Exam Structure

Exam structure consists of 2 minors each of 20 marks followed by end-sem or majors of 50 marks. Each subject makes 100 just like this. We do have 10 marks for our behavior check given by our respective teachers which also include assignment submission.

Admission

I have got addmission via my JEE rank or score i have got 169 marks in JEE mains and 13000 AIR rank. And after that on a website by the name Josaa on the basis of my rank and previous cutoffs i filled the appropiate choices which was about college name and respective branch which i want in that college. After that I have been alloted Ece branch in NIT Jalandhar.

Faculty

2

About facalty i have to say some are good in the sense you can accomodate with them. But some are worst. Because of 75% attendence criterion they think themselves of king or queen. And also because 10 marks of assignment and behaviour are with them, so they think themselves of some almighty ones.
