- The campus is covered in a wide area under the lap of nature
- The sports club and other clubs are pretty active
- Constantly renovating there infrastructure
Dislikes
- I am day scholars and we need to park our activa at the gate and walk to our class
- Canteen service need to be improved as there are very limited number of chairs
- Long college hours like we are studying for more than 4 hours without a break
Course Curriculum Overview
They are quite relevant as teacher focus on the course out comes.they are designed in a way to build core concepts. Professor teach to projector as well as black board.the exam are difficult and for 100 mark paper ,3 hour time is given
Internships Opportunities
There so many intership opportunities as our professors can recommend us to a company in case of non-paid and also there are interview for the internship with stipend Need to do project in accordance with the position you want to handle in a company
Placement Experience
Mostly students from 4 year start applying for a placement.there many high valued company coming to my campus for placement like L&T,Tata motor,Wipro,NHPC,MG, etc.highest placement offered for a mechanical engineering is 25 lakh and average is 15 lakh . More over 50% of the students are placed
Fees and Financial Aid
So I am from general category and there total fees for 4 years is 6,50000 and my father income is also above 6-7 lakhs to I am not able to get fees remission. Other scholarship are there to support students with there fees
Campus Life
We have Mindbend which is largest techno managerial fest of Gujarat held for 4 day and many more cultural fest are held .there a central liberay for books .sports and extracurricular activities are done .
Admission
I applied in NIT suratkal which is situated in south india but my rank was not enough to lend me there . Currently I am in NIT Surat and choose it because of the NITian tag which matters alot.Our admission process is carried out by jossa by securing a good rank in JEE Main
Faculty
So as I start with the faculty/ students ratio ,it is around 1:40 . in the first sem I was fascinated by Rohit Tamrekar sir who taught us mechanics and was great at teaching.I didn't liked my computer sir named Ram singer yadav who literally came in class start to speak without knowing that students at the back are playing game in there laptop
Night Life
Basically I don't leave in hostel but there an in time in hostel if around 10:00 pm and for 2 year there a seperate gym in the hostel and the library closes at 8 pm.there a garden beside the campus for a stress relief
