Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum focuses on developing the basic skills of students and then further enhansing them along the future so that they help us achieve our perfect path. Their are many events that take place as well.
Placement Experience
Fourth year is the last year and the placement year. But the college offers internships fron the second year and third year itself proving many opportunities. the placements can be provided in Myntra, Lenskart, as well as wipro.
Fees and Financial Aid
3 lakh rs per year, plus 45 thousand eligibility fees, and 11 thousand examination fees, and 2 lakh hostel fees. Most of these are as per university norms. And college fees will increase 3 percent every year.
Campus Life
The campus life is very happening and the students are very dynamic and social as well, it is reletively very easy to get along with others. many events take place such as fashion shows, plays and narrations.
Hostel Facilities
there are two hostels, hydrangea and marigold. the meals are somewhat decent. The rooms are well lit and spacious, and the beds are comfortable as well. there is a laundry room provided as well. the hostel registration was easy.
Admission
I had also applied for NIFT and NID and while I couldnt pass for NID, my NIFT was cleared but the location wasn't suitable and was too far away for convenience. DR. DY PATIL school of design seemded like a viable option that would help me achieve my goals and reach the pinnacle of my career.
Faculty
The faculties are very engaging and rigorous with there assignments. They give assignments on a day to day basis and keep the students engaged with work throughout the week. The exams take place in a standard manner.
Interview Experience
We did have to go through an interview and a discussion with the faculty. their questions were generic and simple yet thought provoking. There was an aptitude test which took place as well. The test analysed our general abilities.
Night Life
the nightlife is overall normal. the hostel timings allow students to leave earliest at 6am and enter max by 9:30pm. there is a gym in the girls hostel. A canteen which closes at 7pm. Mostly students hangout in the college lobby.
