Evaluating overall education of our college

Overall our college MVJ COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is good considering the academics that are provided to the students. The teachers are very friendly and supportive. The study environment, the library is really good. One bad thing is that we don't have much projectors and we have shift classes everytime we need to use the projectors.

I personally think that the subjects are arranged properly. We have been learning in the right order. But, I don't think we have taught more in detail. The syllabus just tells us the gist of what is been used in the current industry. Example- Trees, we learnt the basics and in depth. The important topics should be more elaborated.

Nope, our college doesn't provide internship opportunities. But, they inform us about any opportunities that are available in the websites through our class teachers and proctors where they post it in our class whatsapp group. We got to know about gsoc and other internships from the teachers.

Since, our college is good and is in the bangalore city, the placements are quite good. Tier 1 companies like hp, microvision companies and etc come to hire students every year. Placement is not a problem in our college if your skills are good.

We have Vertechx which is a technical fest, it takes place every year in our college campus. In this fest, it includes coding contest and project presentation competitions and a lot other contests made for other colleges and our college students. And we also have international conference where projects can be presented by the students and teachers. We also have cultural fest where all the dance and singing competitions and drama contest takes place. And also department also organizes a lot of other competitions.

College fees is affordable and they cost us forty thousand rupees. But , the facilities that are made availabe to us is also good at the same time. Either it be labs or the equipments that are given to us is of good quality. Thats what student need. A quality education and fun learning.

Since, I belong to obc category, the only scholarship that I get is the karepass. I get eighteen thousand rupees and extra the thousands for the food and accommodation. So, totally that's twenty one thousand rupees per year.

There are a lot of other extra curriculum activities which takes place in our college like the program solving, technical quiz, and dance events. Talking about the lab, they are very good and the equipments are really good and tested. We also have sports competitions like cricket, basketball, football, volleyball matches that are organized by the sports club.

Actually, the thing is I'm not a hosteler. I am a day scholar. As far as I know about the hostel, the fees is a bit costly. And it costs about eighty thousand rupees. But, the rooms that are been provided to then are spacious and good. And the food given to them in the mesh is also not bad.

When it comes to seniors on our college, they are very helpful. They have a coding club in our college, where they help us in the solving problems on code chef, hacker rank, etc. They help us in the competitive programming and other stuff.

The conduction of the exam is really good. We have to write 3 internals in order to get our final internal marks. And the seat allotment is also not bad. When it comes to exam, they are quite strict and that's good.

I wrote my CET exam and the got my ranking. Since, the college is good based on the academics and other tech competitions organized by the college. So, I decided to include MVJ COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING in the list. And I finally got my seat allotted in that college. I am that I got such a college.

The hod, principal and the other teachers on the computer science department have been good in our college. Our hod knows to allot the teachers properly based on their experience and field of expertise. Totally, speaking about the teaching they are good.
