Pros and cons of My College

The curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is information technology. Because today's world is running through the software. So i want to become a software engineer. Our college management conducts every 4 months semester. An actual btech college should conduct it about 6 months a semester. we face difficulty in covering the syllabus and also we don't have enough time to learn programming languages and develop our skills for securing jobs.

In 3-2 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many company visited our college like accenture,tech Mahindra, infosys ,etc,.. Hight package we got this year is 9LPA from 3rd year cse-Ai. And average package is 3.5LPA. 60% of the students are getting campus placements. My plans afrer getting the degree were to join in a good company and do my job full pleadgly.

I pay 115000/- yearly for my college fee and 25000 for my transportation as bus fee. As i join in management sector i pay all kinds o f fees like, tuition fee, caution fee, registration fee, lab fee, etc,.. in single amount. Like at once i pay all the fee. I'm not sure about mu batchemates fee structure because everyboby don't have the same fee structure. It is varying for each person. Some may have reservations, some may get jvd, some may not get all of them. So im not sure about my batch mates fee structure. I don't think our college gives financial aid because i the amount of scholarship because im still pursuing 2nd year so i probably don't know.

The annual and technical festivals held in our college are PRISM i.e, in January starting of the month.but due to some reason our college didn't conducted previous year. We can take any book from the library and we need to submit within 10days or else fine is issued. Coming to sports our college conduct sports yearly once it is PPL match. And some other sports like kabadi, batmenton, etc,.. Our seniors will cooridinate social groups and clubs. By doing this we will improve our skills and be more eligible for placements.

I applied for GMR University College in Srikakulam. I even got a seat in their college but that college is way too far for me to travel. So I have to stay in the hostel. My parents didn't agree to stay far away from my home town so i didn't join their. I chose this college because my cousin's brother studied here. So I heard about this college as well as my parents. so they took admission here and joined me here.

The faculty to student relationship is quite normal. They mind they work and they'll go. I mostly like uma devi mam. She is the ex-hod of our IT department. She is very friendly and i also love ger classes. The way she teaches is good. And i also like Viveka mam Hod of CSE-Ai department. She is aslo very friendly with students. She understand our needs and work on them. She also encourages students to participate in the cultural events. I personally hate my maths sir Narayana. Because the way he treating everyone is different and he also target's students, and I'm one of them. And also he's teaching skills are poor. We have 2 mid exams and 2 semester. And the exams are also moderate . Only 30% of the students fail to clear the exam.

Day scolers don't have the gym speciality only hostlers can use them. We don't have any cafeteria in our college. We don't have any famous hangout place inside or outside our college. Even if it is there our faculty won't allow as to chill for some time. If i have to say about one thing it might be the canteen. Im a day scolar so i dont roam night time in our college.
