Course Curriculum Overview
Civil was my thing because a country or a city is cited developed if it has the best infrastructure. Civil engineers are the ones who build that and that is why I chose this. Our curriculum gives us a perspective and learning and the required skill set which can be applied and helped in our nation achieve an infra which is termed as modern infrastructure.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like the Jindal Group and Japyee Infrastructure and even Adani Group has started offering internships. Their forms are available and manh students can apply them and can avail the oppose of working in country's top infrastructure companies.
Placement Experience
Almost 70% students every year are placed of Civil branch as Civil Engineers are in most demand here. No other branch comes close to us and top level infra companies be it Jaypee Group or the JSW Group, all have their tie-ups with our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college which is Pusa Institute of Technology is among the top college for students who wants to pursue Diploma. The best part is that fees is kept so affordable as all we have to pay is just 16000 a year and in that too a 50% scholarshipnis available for SC/ST students. Even OBC students gets 25% Scholarships as well.
Campus Life
There are many cells and events that takes place in our college. Me, Sajjan Jindal has been guest of honour at our college and he has sent his team for skills development. Likewise mang other corporate events on and off campus keeps on happening. Yes, we have school like benches and all but on learning front our college is as superior as any other college.
Admission
For pursuing the course that I am pursuing we definitely didn't needed to go elsewhere. The University is Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University and they mean it. So on 10th score of 76 which was cut-off in 2023, I got admissions here very easily. Every branch has their own cut-off and our branch probably is in the lower frame.
Faculty
Ratio is very high here as to take care of students each department has nearly 20 or more faculties. Our department specifically has 150 students or so the ratio is 1 teacher for almost every 7 students or so. Dr Mahroof Sir who himself is a civil engineer from IIT Kharagpur is my favourite and a firm still favourite.
Night Life
One just needs to go three kilometres to the east and west enter the city's most busiest area called Karol Bagh. From top most cafes to malls we have everything over there and our college main Street has various street food available.
