Good college

Mmm.it is a good college.various opportunities for the overall perosnality development and holistic development of the students. Study is very good. Techers tech students very well. And also give personal attention. Administration is also doing well. So overall it is a proud to be a part of such institution.

Though the couse curriculum is very good. No doubt in that. But u guess it can be improved. It is highly recomended that since the college is for girls and now a days girls are not really safe in the society, the curriculum shoul include various safety measure lectures and karate classes as well. It can also include certain creative activities.

This is one of the worst wakness of this the college. This college does not provide any Internship. It is one of the competivie loss for the khalsa college for women. They not at all focus on placements of there students.

As i said above they do not provide any scope for placements and job opportunities. And this is one of the worst things in todays world for the students who would have to struggle a lot.

Many events are celebrated in our college. The list is given below. -induction programe. -teej mela -diwaali mela -cultural fest -youth fest -sports day -cristmas -annual convocation -lohri -various inter college contests -farewell -freshers And so onnn.

Fee structure is i guess is optimal. Like it may seem costly to many people but.since i know the cost of getting admissions in aurobindo college.it is much lesser than that. But if we compare it with various government colleges such as government college for girls. then it is veryy expensive.

Scholorships are awarded to the students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. Merit cum means scholorships and fee consessions are given to students who are economically weak. And also there are widely notified through notice boards and announcements.

Many extracurricular activites have been the paert of the curriculum. They do provide a good scope for engancing the personality of the students. It also has very good hygenic well equiped labs for the students for various subjects. Some are chemistry, physics, home science, fine arts, psychology, computer, BBA, commerce, music, geography etc.

Khalsa college for women as we have mentioned earlier was not having the hostel facilities. However except the hostel facilities the college has a good, airy, spacious, properly built and maintained infrastructure. It has all the necessary things such as grounds, laboratories, library, staff room, first aid room, auditorium, cafeteria, smart classes etc.

This college has an alumni association which aims at the regular interaction with alumni who are well placed in different walks of their lives. The meet the students from time to time to undertake various seminars, dicussions and such other events. It also assists the college in augumenting its infrastructure

Exam stucture of the khalsa college for women is verry verryy hectic. It is just like one exam after another. The exam structure includes one series of internal exams i.e. mid semester exams (mst's) i one semester. And there are 2 semesters in one year.ie total of 6 semesters on whole bcom session.

First of all i went to the college campus and got the physicall copy of the admission form. Then i took it to my place and completed filling this particular form. Then it was asked to attach some of the certificates such as 10th grade marksheet 12th grade marksheet birth certificate mugration certificate and so on.i attached certain required certificates. And then finnally submitted those cerificates along with the form

Faculty of the college is veryy good, nice and carring. Tachers are alwasys ready to help the students but.on other hand there are some tachers who does not assume there responsibility and verry often comes into the classes.
