Entrance Preview
I have given GUJCAT entrance exam for admission in Enginnering course. I have scored 90 out of 108 in GUJCAT. Based on the review of senior students and placement record i have choosen this college for admission. Admission process is online and quit simple for all Engineering colleges of gujarat.
Internships Opportunities
Our college has done MOU with some compnies as well as australia. So yes college will provide internship. Compnies like E-infochips,si-bridge,IBM,TCS came for placement. Stipend will provided according to compny rules In most of the cases it will be around 8000 pm.
Placement Experience
Our college provides excellent placement and job opportunities. As per the track record around 75% students were placed so far. Company like E-infochips,si-bridge,TCS,IBM, comes for placement. Average package they offered was 2.25 Lakhs. Interview process is easy and selection process is based on score in written exams.
College Events
Our college holds national level technical symposium with student all over gujarat participates and show their talents. Many robotic event,poster presentation,quiz solutions is being held every year in march. Many other events like dance competition,drama,convocations is being held every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship will be given by government to OBC,ST,SC guys. College also returns full fees to the student who comes first,second and third.Campus have SBI bank branch which will also provides loan facility with minimum process. Unjha Umiya trust also gives loan for education at 0% interest and need to repay after 6 year.
Campus Life
Campus life is average. All types of workshop are being held at campus. College have all labs with latest working instruments present for practicle learning. Gender ratio is 2:1 for boy to girl student as college located in rural area. Ragging and all other negative things doesn't happenes at college campus. Also all student nature is very helpful.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't stayed at hostel so this review is based on my friends experience at hostel. Food and hostel rooms are very good and clean. Hostel is quit chip it costs around 7000 per half year with accomodation and food. Overall rating: 4/5,Other PG facility
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is quit good but most of senior student doesn't joins alumni network. Senior students please join alumni network to share your exeperience to get job and internship with current student. Our placement officer tries hard to place all the student and to attract as much as compnies for placement.
Faculty
As college is dimed not GTU undertaken course structure is define by local faculties. However most of faculties have done Ph.D they have designed course on the cutting edge technology as well as all basic concepts to understand cutting edge technology. As
