- Polytechnic college as this is how our college is referred as should know that our college imparts skills in us like no other college.
- For career we are guided right from the first semester and that is why most students from our college gets job easily.
- If it is said that Indian education system lacks with more theory and less practical our college is among those which has reversed that.
Dislikes
- Campus is quite small as 6 departments and over 1000 students and just 2 academic block is quite few in my eyes.
Course Curriculum Overview
King type course is what we have as skills are been taught and work is taught to us more than bookish knowledge. Every chapter that we have, a practical footprint of the same is provided to us and this way all our vulnerability regarding studies is taken out. So, i would rather request to just add a few if possible but under any pressure nothing should be compromised at all.
Placement Experience
Almost 70 or rather 75% students had the offer letter from the campus after doing just the diploma. Average for diploma in Civil engineering stands at 4 lakhs as of now and by next year, we have been told that it might reach 5 lakhs or beyond.
Fees and Financial Aid
PUSA Institute of Technology has brought a revelation and most of it because the kind of fees that it has kept for engineering or rather diploma is beyond words. In first year i paid 8000 ok both semester and university exam fees including the form fees of 2500. In the second year too it's same only.
Campus Life
No spoon feeding here and therefore even the fest Millennia is undertaken by students itself. No outsiders are even allowed to cross any gate of the campus and we have to enter only from Gate Number 1 as that's our entry point. In all, it's a 4 and a half acre campus and 3 blocks and central library is there at the campus. There's one canteen and a volleyball ground too is there.
Admission
I applied for PUSA via college portal as physical forms were available in SBI banks few branches. The form was filled online and payment for the same was done that way. Admission process was after final cut-off list as list after list came out and in all 6 lists were out to decide the merit or cut-off.
Faculty
If I say about how the relationship between students and faculty exists it is like parents and their kids kind. At times we are been scolded but often are criticized too as they are being more strict. Attendant lee way is given to those students who are on internships. So, they support students in whichever way they can.
Night Life
Our locality is not safe at night but we leave college by 4-5pm as beyond that the college gets is closed for students. So, after college if we feel like hanging out, Inorbit Mall and few other malls are there.
