Likes
- The college is situated in the Central Bhopal. So, it is not far away.
- Fee is not very high. It is affordable to every student.
- Faculties are very supportive and helpful. They conduct regular classes and weekly tests.
Dislikes
- After the construction of new buildings, the college ground got shrunk.
- Clean Glasses are not used for the students who have come in the college to give exams.
- Access to Sports equipment and Gym is limited to certain timing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of M. Com. prepares a student to learn all the aspects of Accounting and do deep study of it. Many of the Faculties take regular classes to explain all the aspects of the course so that none of the students are left.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee which was taken at the time of admission was Rs. 2000. Then M.Com. is in semester wise system. So, for exam fee for each semester was taken Rs. 1400. So total cost was 2000+2800=4800. My other batchmates received scholarships and whole admission fee was refunded to them.
Campus Life
The college used to organize student elections. The college used to participate in all the university sports competitions like Cricket, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis, etc. There is anti-ragging group also in the college that has college faculties also in it. So, interests of students are protected.
Admission
I applied to certain private colleges also. But fee was very high there. Also, Hamidia College has huge number of seats. And fee is very less. So, I decided to take admission here and college is not far away. So I attended regular classes also.
Faculty
There were 6 faculties for 75 students in my batch. They are well experienced and used to take regular classes. Also, they are very supportive. They used to teach in Hindi and English both. Commerce faculties are the best.
Interview Experience
No entrance tests are conducted for this college. An aspirant has to apply from the E-pravesh portal and there 3-4 rounds for the admission process. An aspirant is selected on the basis of percentage. Preference to students belonging to SC, ST is given.
Night Life
The college has huge trees, and green campus. So, I used to relax by laying down in the college ground itself. The college is near the lake, so fresh oxygen is there. Also, one can easily sit and relax in the college library and read some great novels.
