About my college

I decided to take this course because I am interested in technology. Also our college curriculum is old fashioned it doesn't ready students for real world applications. Our college syllabus for all semester is is old they are not updating the course regularly. If teachers focus on practical skills and real world problems and less focus on assignments then students can connect with teachers and like teaching . Also our sem is of 5 months approx. So in 3½ month after semester start mid exam happens and after 1 month final sem exam starts

Students are eligible from 8th sem for campus placement. Many companies are come for hiring students some leading companies are TCS, tatvasoap, tech mahindra, Wipro and other many companies. Average package of our college is 4.5 lakh and highest placed student package is 8 lakh last year. Percentage of students getting placement is around 80%. I plan for master degree after getting degree.

There is not any extra charges besides college fees. Also if you are topper of you department then you will get your semester fees return in form of scholarship. Also there is not any compulsory charges for any category or any sports event.

Our college held event named xenesis where students can organise their own event so others students can participate in it . Which includes tournament for bgmi, freefire, also other games. Typically xenesis held on February month. Most of books are present in library and also it very easily accessible for students. Our college support sports also our college held sports events and If any students want to play in national games then college provide them with necessary equipments. In our college IEEE named group is active for students who are interested in technical event.

All facilities are provided in hostel room. In winter they provide with hot water and also hostel provide free wifi for students. Menu is different for each day and also quality of mess food is average. On month end hostel mess provide sweet on lunch. Also our hostel is competitivly affordable with other hostels.

I also applied for Nirma college for computer science but unfortunately I didn't get in because of my low merit then I decided to take admission in this college. I was rejected by Nirma college because my ACPC rank is around 8k. Our college take admission based on ACPC and also it will take admission on board percentage . Most course students prefer is information technology and computer engineering field in our college.

I don't know exact faculty-to-student ratio but it is high enough and also all faculty are very approachable. Some faculties are very good in nature they support and guides students who want to do something else besides from college syllabus. They help in student's research or help in building projects. Also there is some faculties who are not very supportive what they want is only attendance and writing assignments. About exams there is total 2 exams per semester. One of them is mid-exam of 30 marks and another is sem- final exam which is of 70 marks. Also our exam are not that difficult if u study regularly.

Our college hostel includes gym cafeteria for hostel students. Also cafeteria is open to late night so students can buy and eat whatever they want . Also food of hostel cafeteria is good. Our hostel gates are closed at 11 pm. It is perfectly safe even if we roam at midnight in campus. Because there is 24/7 security present for protection.
