It was among first undergraduate colleges to offer Business Analytics Specialisation. Also, I had the option to go for general BBA in 1st year and choose a specialisation in 2nd year, unlike UPES DEHRADUN where we need to choose a specialisation in 1st year. Being a science student I needed yo study general BBA first so that I could decide my specialisation later so, I chose SCMS. Also, SCMS Noida is no different from Pune one because the curriculum is the same and the degree awarding University is the same. The degree doesn't mention the college. It mentions the university. Also if SCMS PUNE is 14 years old then SCMS NOIDA is 10 years old. Except that it was an added advantage to choose SCMS NOIDA because the industrial environment is fresh there and full of opportunities. Also, it's at a stone's throw from Delhi. So, we can explore the cities and become a wiser person (required that we take time and interest to do so). Additionally, Noida is 3 hours away from my hometown which makes it easy to go home on weekends. The most beneficial thing I liked about SCMS Noida is the diversity of students & their facade that is very outgoing and respectful, professionalism in curriculum and excellent personality professors, work oriented growth (you actually need to work in extracurriculars to get recognition and there are ample opportunities that increase in no. every year as the Institute gets older) Most amazing thing which is more important than education is that people here are open-minded to extremes. No professor or student judges you here. Professors are very approachable and cool and witty. Open minded people around you is what pushes you to grow because they don't hold you down by judging you. I can't stress this enough because I have seen what it is like to be coming from a small town full of old thinking and limited knowledge where even a 12th class student doesn't speak good English, let alone his personality development will happen.
