Likes
- Basically we can say that our college is best from other colleges in midnapore, we feel proud that we are the students of that college that have a glowing history in freedom fighting. Some famous freedom fighters like Dinesh Gupta, Binay Basu etc.
- The environment of our college is so calm and the air is fresh, here we can see many types of flowering plants and other ornamental plants which enhances the beauty of our college. The college campus is very pleasant.
- Our faculties are very polite and friendly. They are helpful to us.
Dislikes
- Sometimes our washrooms are not cleaned properly, college authority have to see it properly.
- Some of our faculties shows some partiality for their favourite students but it doesn't affect in any good student.
- College authority have to improve some infrastructure like innovation of new cantee, free gym centre for all students etc
Course Curriculum Overview
From my childhood I have a curiosity to know the unknown microorganism and I wanted to be a scientist to find out the medicine of vital diseases so I pursue microbiology from her we can pursue any other biology related stream for my higher studies etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
To admitted to our college, Midnapore College Autonomous we had to pay 11,600 rupees for 1st semester admission and then one semester 11000 rupees and the other semester 11000 rupees. Every student of our stream have to pay this amount. Our college doesn't provide it's own scholarship to general students but we get a government scholarship SVMCM .
Campus Life
Our campus life is very pleasant, here I find many friends who are very polite as well as cheering. Here many fest happens every time like cultural and sports. Many biology departments host many national seminars and workshops that helps us to enhance our mental growth as well as academic growth.
Admission
I choose this college because it has a big history in freedom fighting. Every medinipurian students have a wish to come to this college where history is hiding in every brick of our heritage building . I am also applied other colleges like Panskura Banamali College for microbiology and also qualified jenpas ug but I prefer microbiology in this college .
Faculty
Here I pursue BSc. microbiology hons. under new education policy 2020 which is a 4 year graduation course. After graduation we can directly eligible for NET, only criteria is to earn 7.5 cgpa in graduation. Here, faculties and students ratio is too small but it is enough to teach every student properly. There some faculties are very helpful to students but some have some partiality for their favourite students. We have not any rights to tell their names but overall they are polite Here in a sem 2 internal examination is taken and a end semester examination is taken as a qualifying exam for next semester.
Night Life
Infront our college, there is our college ground where many people sit and enjoy their evening to night till 11 pm. Many food stall and ice cream shops are here where the students and locals can spend time with their friends and loved ones.
