Likes
- University is clean and well maintained. Surrounded by greenery with fresh air.
- Faculty are good they clear all the doubts and are also friendly
- Transportation is also good. There are busses which will pick up from far away.
Dislikes
- Over disciplinary. They won't allow you to wear t-shirts or round neck shirts and you have to be in inshirt all the time
- Food in some cafes inside college isn't clean and food also isn't fresh
- There is a hen farm nearby university so the smell of it is affected to some parts of building
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is divided into credits which says whether it is only a lecture course or lab included in it. But for some courses which require lab they won't give you lab instead they make it a lecture course.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I joined the university in 2021 my fee was 145000 per year and the same fee was applied to the rest 3 years i.e, total of 580000. Also there was a discount of 10000 every year if you pay a fee for complete year. There were few scholarships like ssp and nsp. Ssp was applied to all people who have studied in Karnataka.
Campus Life
My campus life had given enough experiences which help me to solve real life problems. Our infrastructure is under construction and I'm sure it will be under construction forever. My college have many sports and other cultural activities too. We also have 4 libraries and another library which is under construction. Lecturers use digital board for explanation.
Admission
I personally haven't applied to other colleges, but there is a talk that courses are somewhat cheap as compared to other colleges. I haven't applied to any other college and I haven't faced a rejection too. You have to wait for admission and they'll make you to join college if you go inside admission office.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are good, knowledgeable and also friendly. There are 2-3 classes having same course and also 4-5 lecturers for each course. There are many facilities I liked because of their friendly nature and their intention to make a student learn the course. I also dislike some faculty because of their attitude and ignorance towards students. We write two exams one is mid term and another is end term. If you fail in any subject there is also make up exam which will be kept after the end of every sem.
Night Life
I personally live in home so I don't know much about hostel Life. But the food in hostel isn't good. There is maybe one gym for both boys and girls. hostel doesn't allow you after 8. Inside college we usually hangout near auditorium or fountain or lawn. Outside the campus we don't have much places. But it isn't much safe for girls to roam after 6 in the evening or before 7 in morning. Because there are 2-3 bar cafes or bar shops and you find drunk people always.
