One of the top college in barasat

The faculty is good. It is under west bengal state university. When we read there was no semester system. It was 3 year system. Now it is not like that. Total 6 semester are there. And this system will help students than before

There was freshers program . It was not a very big one but its good enough. Also there are few events which is memorable like few seminars and also saraswati puja. No other memorable events i can remember.

As this a govt college fees are less than other colleges. We paid very less fees. One should not worry about his fees while studying in this college. Also if you are poor i mean very poor college and teachers will help u

I dont know about loan facility. But scholarship is there. Generally head of the department can reduce your fees by 50% and by full if you are unable to pay any fees. Also lots are other scholarship are there after you pass h.s

There is a small ground and a common room. In common room you can find carrom board table tennis like stuffs. And in ground badminton court is there. People sometimes play cricket also. Labs facility is good.

No hostel facility. You can stay nearby mess type or borrow a house. But most people generally travel to this college as barasat is a well connected place. Train, bus everything alltime available. Maybe if you looking to stay u need to stay near to station area

Yes. I never faced ragging and they are helpful. Also they will guide you in case of any problem. A student Union is there. Also i get help about my practical and mathematics from the seniors. I can't say about all department but it was about math department.

It was an offline process when i admitted. But now its an online-only process. You need to fill form online and in college website merit list will be published. You can get admitted from there. There will be around 3 to 4 merit list. To get admitted you need good academic score in hs

Very good and supporting faculty. I did honours in mathematics subject and it was a nice experience. Practical labs are also present. We had physics and chemistry as pass subject and the lab and faculty for those are extremely good.
