Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty interesting and includes, besides the academics, a lot of activities throughout the year. Plus you get 4 months of vacation in a year. As to the exams there will be a monthly once three internal exams in a semester of which two you must qualify. And then a sem end exam.
College Events
Mostly the events are sports related. You can always have a badminton or cricket or volleyball tournament going on in the campus. And there is a yearly event called Dastaan which is the official literary festival of the university which includes a lot of literature related fun and knowledgeable activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's pretty much very cheap. You only have to pay around 5000 a year. If you are not a resident of Hyderabad you are allowed to take hostel in the campus which again doesn't cost much. It's around 5000 per year again.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university itself offers a scholarship called Merit cum Means scholarship. It's only for hostel students and those who secure above 50% of marks in the sem end examinations. It gives you 1000 per month for 8 semester months and a 1000 extra per year as book allowance. All in all you get 9000 an year.
Campus Life
There is a 24×7 computer lab with a very good internet connection which helps the students improve their language skills. Then there's a very vast library with around 16 language books. The library is a two storeyed building with around 1,75,000 books which is not any normal feat.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is pretty with two in a room and enough furniture for a student. You get hot water to bath and cold water to drink 24×7. There is no laundry which is disappointing. And the mess serves all Indian types of food around the week.
Alumni/Alumna
Well it depends on how well you communicate with others. The seniors are very helpful and friendly. You just have to maintain a good relation with them. The senior students who are working do help the juniors if they ask for it.
Admission
I attempted the entrance exam. I qualified for the short list. And then I attended the counselling and presented the required certificates at EFLU in Hyderabad. Well I was admitted into the university.
Faculty
They're very well experienced and amiable. Some of them are from other countries as well. Most of them are post graduates with around 10 years of experience at the least. Always ready to help the students. And they join in the co curricular activities as well
