Positives are everywhere, faculty great, seniors awesome, study excellent, they don't torture students with burden, they take it slow and make sure the students are grasping the concept, my college is great No negetives none at all
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is great, it's a 3 years honors course in management or you can say business administration, the exam format is CBCS or choice based credit system, that means we have to get over a total 6 semester, each semester has it's own core papers, general papers and other papers, the semester duration is 6 months, after every 6 months there will be examination and then you get over that semester
Placement Experience
Yes, My college does provide internships, I know that, but I'm still in 3rd semester, internships are in 4th semester, so I have no experience on that field, about placement and job, the college doesn't provides it
College Events
There is freshers- where we welcome our juniors There is a college picnic- where all the college students goes for a bit of fun There is our fest- where we bring some musical guest to perform and the like There is orientation day or foundation day - where the education minister come and speak There are also others like departmental freshers and saraswati puja like events which the students organize Plus there is Asutosh Premier league, asutosh soccer league and the like
Fee Structure And Facilities
Some courses are feasible, some are expensive, mine is the most expensive one comes at 40000 a year, some are relatively small like 3000 a year, computer science like subject is also 25000 like, so yeah some are expensive, some are feasible, depending on the course
Fees and Financial Aid
No, not available loan facility, there is availability of installments, like in my case, some students weren't been able to pay the full 40000 in one installment, so they wrote a letter and gave the money in two installments and scholarship don't know about, probably yes
Campus Life
Yes, there are everything, Asutosh has it's own cricket and football team, and also there is Asutosh premier league a league of cricket and Asutosh soccer league held every year, lab yes, there is lab in every department, computer, chemistry, physics everything
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the senior students are very helpful, at my first visit I was kinda scared about ragging, but my seniors took me very well and welcomed me, my seniors had helped me in every aspect, they are very helpful, very very I have only positive words for my seniors
Admission
First I had to apply online, my name came in the second merit list, we got a call on which date to come for admission, we went there filled a couple of forms, got our documents such as marksheet, birth certificate, aadhar card verified, paid the admission fees, got our roll numbers, then went home, our admission was done
Faculty
They are great, they are very helpful, clears doubts, very friendly with students and has good knowledge of what they are teaching, the college has faculties specializing in subjects of what they teach.
