Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is well-defined and branched. A number of courses are offered in different subjects. A student has full freedom to choose the courses of his/her desire. Yes, the courses are fully fair and they are relevant. Examinations are conducted in fair ways.
Placement Experience
Better placements are provided if you are regular and focussed on your studies. Bigger brands such as Britannia, SunPharma, etc. have been visiting our college for a few years.
College Events
This is the most interesting part. Besides studies, the next thing which is seriously taken by the students in the events. Programmes such as quiz, debate, singing, dancing, poster making are conducted, even in inter-college basis. Short trips are also organised by the respective departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is very lenient and minimal. Since it is a Govt. college, most part of the student fees is born by the Govt. So, a student doesn't have to worry about the fees. The maximum admission fees are 20,000 in the Microbiology Hons. and the rest subjects have even lower fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Though I have not availed any education loan, some of my classmates are entitled under the scholarship under the State Govt.
Campus Life
I know campus life is the most questioned thing before adopting a college. And believe me, you won't find a better campus, mark it. All the senior students are friendly, the gender ratio is fairly maintained and students from different parts of the country come here to study. Extracurricular activities are seriously considered and are fairly conducted at regular intervals.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very supportive. Every year, an Alumni Summit is organised, where the alumni come here to help us. And the senior students, they are absolutely fantastic, much friendly and kind.
Admission
College admission is normally conducted through online procedure. Marks of 12th standard in different subjects are considered. After that shortlisting is done by the authorities and the result is declared within a few days. After the result declaration, a day is allotted for verification of documents, and if found original and legit, admission is granted.
Faculty
Awesome college, all the professors of this college are supportive and generous. They try to understand the situations on their own and are ready to help if they can. Lab assistants are friendly, too. Most of them help us not only in assignments but in everyday life also.
