Course Curriculum Overview

4

Our course curriculum,I think is one of the best.It covers all the sciences and technology. moreover it implements subject knowledge both theoretically and practically.so that we can prepare for the real world problems and solve them.they keep on training us on the subject by conducting internal exams every 30 month. The exam's difficultly rely on subject wise.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college provide very good internship opportunities both paid and free. Companies which offer are such as tcs, wipro, aicte and companies which offer paid internship are teachnook etc.they help in improving the subject knowledge by giving regular projects and a final project for judging our performance.

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement, our placement is pretty good.Companies who come for recruiting are tcs,hcl and etc. our annual package ranges from 3.5lpa to 35 lpa.My plan after degree is pursuing pg in abroad.but almost all the students get placed here

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is normal It is around 1.8 lakh per year That is 85 thousand for a semester and some other fees like sports, medical, placement and etc which totally cost 1.8 to 1.9 lakh per year They also provide scholarship for students who perform really well in academics

Campus Life

5

Overall experience of campus life is very good. Our campus has a vast infrastructure which includes sports ground and gym. There is fest like sports, tech and fun events happening regularly every year. With workshops happening regularly.there are also more than 20 student-run clubs and websites of our college

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facility on room based is good for the money the are charging. Also they provide good food at times with regularly providing milk 3 times a day and snacks at evening with sufficient food. Here there is a choice to select our room type ie single or 3 in one.Meal quality is decent with diversed menu.Hostel registration is completely online and easily getable

Admission

I also applied for vit chennai.i chose sastra over vit because the fees is comparatively low and almost both are in same criteria.i didn't get rejection just the fees was high compared to sastra. In sastra the admission procedure is purely based on merit.there are two ways one with board mark and other with jee score.i came here with my board mark

Faculty

4

Our faculty are one of the best. The have good subject knowledge and teach really well. The exams are also conducted regularly to test our subject knowledge. The difficulty of the exam is based on the subject. The student-faculty relationship is good. they help us in clearing out doubts and also in various aspects

Interview Experience

4

I didn't face any group discussion. The admission criteria is based on two types.one is by jee score and board mark and other is purely based on board mark. And the admission takes place as 4 to 5 councelling rounds.

Night Life

2

Our night life is not so good if we are in hostel our in time is 8 30 after which we can't go outside.Including all the gyms, cafeteria and library gets closed by 8 30.so in sastra night life is not as best but if you are a dayscholar then you can roam around the campus till some timing like 9 30 and enjoy the campus

Other Applied Colleges

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive.
