My College

Startups in college is in full flow know, students are now more keen to start their own business than got place in companies.This this fascinated me a lot. We have now more than 5 startup launched nad running successfully such as rent-le , fixit2days, campyex etc and more 20 startup is in way.

I think AKTU must have to move their Information Technology and Computer Science curriculum more towards the trends fields such as data science , machine learning etc because they the technology for future and we have to up to date for that(I think AKTU course is much backwards than the current needs of tech). In a year we have 2 sem each for 6 months in odd sem we have to give 2 class tests on the basis of it we will got internal marks and for external we have to give sem exams.same for the even sem

Placement scenario is now more good than the early years ,we have now got more than 118+ students placed out of 130 students in this year and the average package also increases from 3.5 lac to 4.5 lacs. Ya college provide internship for the first year and second year students (don't know about the stipend).

Fee structure is pretty good for batch 2017 and old batches,But in 2018 fees is revised and new students have to pay more than 1.5 lacs per year. Also their is ceiling in scholarship so that general and OBC category cannot get more than 60k amount.

I know only about state government scholarship program in my college . State government provide 60k for GENERAL and OBC students nad for SC and ST students full refund of fees is provided.Most of the students find issue with the fees amount because fees is very high and scholarship is barely half of the amount we paid. I think loan facility is not available in my college because one time when I gone in the campus bank for loan discussion they said that student have to go to their native district for their loan .

Their us lot of extra curriculum activities in our college such as sports ,fest,branch fests ,contests,clubs and societies. If you are a pure extrovert than their is a heaven in this college for you.Lots of societies , clubs , startup gotta busy you always. Their is two new sports complex stadium is under construction one for indoors and one for outdoors and also e library for IET students.

Hostel facilities is not good for first and second year students ,they have to manage in one room for 4 students and also the structure of second yeaar hostel is not good.Inspite of same structure of first and second year hostel both are completely different in terms of ventilation,natural light,cleaniness etc. I will rate my first and second year hostel 2/5 if possible . But for the 3td and 4th year student situation gets better for 3rd year students 1 room per 2 students allotted and for final year 1 room per students is allotted and mesa facilities for the all year is quite good.

Last year our director sir successfully start ALUMNI ASSOCIATION .In this association we got know about our alumni and where are they now.They also shared their experiences after the college . Last year in I got the chance to meet various alumni of our college and know them.Some of them are still in contact with me.

I got this college on the basis of lateral entry program for diploma students by AKTU university.Lastly I had done my diploma course from Information Technology trade from Hewett Polytechnic Lucknow college,I like the coding and all that stuff that's why I was keen to give myself 3 more years for this graduation.

They are very supportive for CS and IT.And by supportive I mean they very flexible in the attendance of students and all others things. CS and IT students much time for their skills development such as coding , speaking and all.But for the core branches such as electrical engineering,mechanical engineering, civil engineering, etc teachers are very strict , students are always running for their classes , student barely get free time in the class periods .You can very easy recognize IT and non IT students by looking at the posture of their walk, i.e non IT students always in hurry for their class. And that's all is the requirements of any CS IT student.
