Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very relevant in terms of the knowledge needed to be a lawyer in this day and age. Ranging from topics from the past to the future, and most importantly the current world order laws and judgements. Everything the course curriculum contains is used in practising law in India, at the district level all the way upto the Supreme Court itself. The Frequency of our examinations is one in-sem examination every 1-2 months and then the end semester examinations at the end of the examination.

Internships Opportunities

5

Brilliant internship opportunities - the university provides internship programmes for every course, from LAW to Engineering. My personal experience with the LAW internships have been great. They provide excellent and fruitful opportunities at District/State high court/Supreme Court as per our willingness. Along with Private Law Firms, NGO's , Other government agencies also. There are many opportunities at our disposal, we just have to enroll in their programme and reach out to the greatness included. My experience with the RALSA internship after the 1st Semester has been great. This internship was very fruitful and an experience to gain alot of knowledge from. This university really looks into the all round developement of the students regarding on-field work.

Placement Experience

5

One of the specialties of JECRC University is the on-campus placements provided the university, the placements are good and provide an adequate and satisfactory Return On Investment (ROI) ratio. There many MNCs (Multi-National Corporations) that come for the placements ever year, including names like Infosys, Amazon, Yamaha, Accenture, Deloitte, Lenovo etc. The highest package ever was in 2022, which was 52 Lakhs per year. As for personal goals, My plans after getting the degree are to develop my skills even more, and also pursue LLM.

Fees and Financial Aid

Clearing out of the 1st Semester at JECRC University, pursuing BA+LLB (Hons.), I paid Rs.1,65,000 this year in total. Rs. 85,000 for the first semester and Rs. 75,000 for the second semester to be exact. From this year on, the anual fees has been increased to Rs. 2,00,000 with and increment of Rs. 50,000 in total per year. The exact breakup of the fees structure is Rs.1,33,000 tution fees, Rs.67,000 other fees, which comes upto a total of Rs.2,00,000 per year(sem1 + sem2). The admission and alumni fees for the first semester is Rs.10,000. The first semester fee however is Rs.1,00,000. Merit scholarship according to 70-84.9% in 10+2 examinations is 15% as per amount of tuition fees for all undergraduate programmes. Merit scholarships for those who score 85% and above in 10+2 examinations is 20% for all undergraduate programmes as per amount of tuition fees. Additional scholarships for NCC 'A' certificate/Alumni/Sibling/JU employee/Single mother/War Widow/Father from Services/Para-Military Forces killed in action/Sports Medalist at minimum State Level Tournament conducted by Federation recognised by IOA (Indian Olympics Association) (Any ONE for FIRST year only) is 5% for all undergraduate programs as per amount of tuition fees.

Campus Life

5

On-campus life is amazing, there are alot of social activities from time to time. Around march, every year the university fest JU rhythm takes place, and alot of opportunities for many extra curricular activities, like moot courts, dj nights and many more. The students hardly face any problems on campus and almost no issues regarding the quality of life when we are on campus. Adequate facilities for easy going and natural flow of things to take their shape. Freshers party and the fest are absolutely lively and over the top as per enjoyment factors.

Admission

Personally, I chose this college as they are fast with their admission process, right from filling up the form to the personal interview round, and all the way upto the beginning of the semester. The admissions team is very helpful and guide you through the process in detail and are there for any kind of support or questions through and through. Even after the admission, they guide you through the class structure and misc. things you first wonder about when you step into the university. The eligibility criteria for admission into the university is 45% in 10+2 examinations and for scholarships it is 70%. First you fill up the form, and then they take a Personal Interview (PI) round for further evaluation and judgement. Moving forward, if one gets selected they then have to occupy their seat by submitting the first semester fees. It is a very streamlined and easy process from start to finish.

Faculty

5

The Faculty is very co-operative with the students, some may be a little moody, most of the faculty is great in behaviour. Not only behaviour, the faculty are masters at their jobs, BRILLIANT TEACHERS! Excellent understanding of their own domains and and even better ability to explain the subjects. On time assignments and liable for the all round developement of the student, they are brilliant at what they do. Examinations are exactly what they teach us to be, quite rough, but thats what law students have to go through, they only test our knowledge according the best of our capabilities.

Night Life

2

Honestly, the college is situated quite far from any nightlife activities, although there is a mall situated around 5-6 kms away from the university, the nightlife is quite dead. The locality is quite abandoned and the college is situated near an industrial area, so I would say its not safe at night to even go out at all. No entry allowed into the college after 9pm. There is a gym in the campus, and also alot of restaurants inside like Nothing before coffee outlet, Jumbs, and the brunch house cafe. The college cafeteria is currently being renovated and unavailable for some time.

The college building was nice; it's among the top 10 in Rajasthan, and I wanted to become a lawyer. So, this college seemed good. I prepare well, but there are no picnics or court visits. Everything is excellent; there's no need for any improvement. The exams are good, but the difficulty level is too high.

Companies like IBM, INFOSYS, AMAZON , Tech mahindra are some which offers placement with average 4 lpa, highest being 25lpa. 60% is the placement rate in ba llb. My plan after getting the degree is trying for judiciary and preparing for llm and phd.
