Remarks
The college is very good. It has very tight security guards allover the campus. The campus has lots of greenery have lots of trees and plants. And most importantly there is very big and high national flag in our campus. It look very gorgeous while hosting.
Course Curriculum Overview
BBI is course for banking and insurance sector. It is of three years consist of 6 semister. For every semister there are two exam internal and external exam. Internal is of 25 marks and external is of 75 marks so total is 100
Placement Experience
So about internship, presently I have not done any internship. I have completed my 1st year only so I have not done yet but if you find any internship then you can do by asking the college and take permission they will support you. They call some company for us I have seen Hindustan times and Gillette in our college for filling forms.
College Events
So the campus of the college is very big. It has one of the biggest campus in Mumbai. So in such a big campus there are lots of event take place. FINSEC is the event which is conducted by BBI and BFM department. And there are mamy other events too like VIHAN, HOONER, SYMPHONY, MAKER MELA, MELANGE in our campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes fees is feasible. But as compared to other colleges the fees is little high. But other college doesn't provide you such a big campus. The college fees is around 25 thousand annually for outsider and 24 thousand for insider.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there are some scholarships facility available for Somaiyan students. There are many scholarships for specially girls. The scholarships are given on different basis like merit basis, need basis, special activity and many others too.
Campus Life
Since the campus is very big so extracurricular activities are also available here. There are grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, tennis, athletic track, bateminton and all. There is computer lab and for engineering students there are many other labs too.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors students are really osm. I have not seen such kind of seniors. They are very helpful. They are ready to help every time. They do not take any kind of ragging. They helpn in our studies, project work.
Admission
I got admission on merit basis. First we have to register ourself in University, fill the form there and then we have to fill the form of the college online available on website. Then wait for the merit list.
Faculty
I'm in 2nd year so till I have seen that the faculty is osm means faculty is very friendly with the student specially is for BBI as per my concern. They are always ready to help student. They understand the problems of the student and help to solve it.
