Likes
- From this year tulu language classes will be taken
- There will be lots and lots of events going in the campus which improves social interaction, confident and overall nature
- Too much improvement has taken place inside college buildings and inside the campus
Dislikes
- Placement services are provided but we have to pay for that also
- Most of the lecturers are the best and has vast knowledge but very few lecturers don't teach properly as this will affect the student's learning
- As I am a bca student we have a very less events for us as there are more events to other courses like bba, bcom compared to us
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest I joined this course as in the present generation computer application has lot of demand and also I learnt many things by joining bca,but the projects are too much work. I feel bca students have no rest as there will be practicals and exam together one after the other
Placement Experience
From the 5th sem students are eligible for the campus placements. I wanted to pursue masters so I did not apply for the placement so I know only few companies one is Accenture and from our class there were 4 students and overall I don't know. Percentage I am not sure. Planning to pursue MCA
Fees and Financial Aid
About the fee structure for the first year I had to pay 48000 (44000 fees + 4000 maths extra class). The students who opted science in puc had to pay 44000 and commerce students had to pay 48000. In the second year I had to pay 40750 and in the final year (currently studying) I had to pay 42000. So there were fluctuation in the fee structure. The additional fees also are added in the fee structure itself. I have received the scholarship of vidya spoorthi (merit cum needi scholarship) of Rs 4500 and there are also other scholarship which are provided for the eligible students.
Campus Life
In our bca we have a big fest that is Composite fest and there was annual day. The range and accessibility of books in the library are too vast each and every books are present of every topic. College encourages sports students. For the two year's (first and second year) we will have a association hour according to our wish and it will conducted on every Friday and there is also a sahaya program where we go outreach helping charity or the government school students teach them and there is also Nss
Admission
I have not applied to any other college as I wanted to join to this college itself and also my percentage in puc was 96% so there was no issue for me in the application process. I joined this college for the placement purpose. There is no entrance exam for the admission in our college for degree
Faculty
Faculty are good to students. They explain each and everything. I like most of the ma'am and sir for their teaching way as there are many I cannot mention each of them and the lecturers whom I don't like is the new lecturers (not all) who just came to teach recently as they don't have vast knowledge about few particular topics. In 1 semester we have 2 internals (written and practicals) and yes the exams are never easy unless and until we study
Night Life
There is a gym and up of that the canteen place and there are 2 libraries and my favorite place is the katte. I don't have hostel experience as I don't stay in hostel. Yes it is safe to roam around night
