My College Review

I really love my college and all the faculty members and these 3 years of my college life was really good. They are still developing themselves for their students betterment. All needing amenities are there in our college. The only thing which they need to improve but it's a little tough,that is, there are two buildings of our college one new and one old. the condition of the old building is not so upto the mark and that's where they need to work harder.

The course of journalism and mass communication is very different from other subjects with lot of practical works which is very important for this subject. The exam structure is proper and they take an internal test everytime before we had to sit for our final exams every year.

No, they don't offer internship or job opportunities till now. Maybe it's because that this is not a private college but they prepare you in such a way that you won't be needing any placements or job opportunities from college as you can get it outside.

Every event is celebrated here whether it's freshers, farewell, alumni meet, annual fest, any puja and even every teacher's birthday is celebrated in their own departments. In a nutshell, events are a part of this college.

It is feasible but for journalism course the fees are a bit high than the other courses but those who are willing to study this particular subject, for them the fees taken here are much less than other colleges.

They provide scholarship for needy ones and there the Kanyashree scheme is available for the female students and they can opt for it if they want to but there are no loan facilities. They take care of the students who need this scholarships.

With studies, students are always encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities like dance, singing, painting, sports and they have the opportunity to participate in different competition held in other colleges or outside anywhere. Sports is also something which is taken care of on regular basis.

There is no hostel facilities here. The ones who need to stay away from home had to look for pg's or need to make other arrangements here. Many of the students take the pg or relative's house for staying and studying others travel everyday from their home to college.

The alumni network is very good as many of the seniors or alumni people keep in touch with their respective departments even after leaving the college and they always help their juniors with anything they ask for.

I filled up the application form online and then i was selected on the basis of merit list and after the first counseling i got my admission then i have to submit the fees for the start of the year and after that finally our session begun.

Faculty is the best according to me and i do really like our faculty a lot. The teachers are really helpful and know what they have to do. They guided us in every decision we had to make. I am really happy with our faculty.
