Course Curriculum Overview

Your molecular biology syllabus is highly relevant and comprehensive for biotechnology. It covers essential topics like nucleic acids, DNA replication, transcription, translation, and cell cycle, forming a strong foundation. This semester it's difficult for us to complete the syllabus and prepare for it because of short time.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 145500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1.5L per year, tution fees=85k, transport=40k, food=25k , no scholarships. Additionally,exam fees and breakage amount for every semester . Currently there are some scholarships for merit student in the college

Campus Life

Campus life is vibrant with active clubs, research groups, and social events. The infrastructure includes well-equipped labs, libraries, and green spaces, fostering both academic and extracurricular growth.

Admission

I chose this college for its biotech curriculum, lab facilities, and research focus. Other colleges had tough cutoffs. The admission process was merit-based with entrance exams and interviews, good teaching.

Faculty

Faculties are well trained, they are friendly too. They always follows an interactive class with student. Help us alot in development of our knowledge. Exams are good , sometimes the question paper may get though. Every faculty in biotechnology department are good and friendly for me.

Night Life

Nightlife around campus is moderate, with cafes, student hangouts, and occasional fests. While not very vibrant, nearby city spots offer entertainment, and campus events keep the student life engaging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Best experience in college

I applied for the Aalim muhamad Salegh college which is in Avadi. In that college I have got ECE department. And parallely I have searched for the CSE or IT department in other colleges. Then I also got PEC with ECE dept then we approaches the college and we selected the IT department.I didn't got any rejections form other colleges which I have applied. There is eligibility criteria where u must secure above 85% to get CSE or IT dept or any other computer streams. There is no entrance exams.
