Likes

The campus and the quality of education is good
And the teachers are also well qualified for teaching
And the infrastructure is not bad it has smart classrooms and labs

Dislikes

I personally dislike the college campus life and the senseless rules
I also dislike that there is 0 social life and there are only telugu students in the campus
And there are no opportunities provided for extra curriculum

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum compared to other colleges is good since they omit the useless subjects and focus on the subjects required for thr specific branch but the concepts and the subject are the same ad other colleges

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement as i am in 1st year dont know much but i have asked seniors and the teachers they say that the placement is not bad and the average ctc was 12l for cse ai last year so compared to other tier 2 3 colleges in bangalore it is not bad

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees varies from person to person and there arw 4 slabs first 3slabs are scholarship 1st slab is 15000 the fee 2nd 2.5l and 3rd 3.5l and there is management quota which is 4l and it is based the entrance exam they conduct and even they consider Jee mains and afvance results

Campus Life

The campus life sucks in this college if ur somone looking for cmapus life and social life a big no to this college i regret joining this college because of this reason and since i was from christ which is the best college i feel disappointed

Admission

I choose this college mainly for two reasons one main reason is distance since it is near to my house and i save a lot of time in travelling and othrr reason is the nirf ranking of this is college is 23

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is not bad it there are tiarl of 1000 student's in the campus and around 300 teachers and i didnt like one faculty who was a lab assistend and promoted to teacher ner name is viharika who teaches dicreate math

Night Life

The night life is not there because i heard from hostlers that thhe colege is very particular about the hostel the gate closes are 6pm so not entry or exit afterwarse and hostel life is pretty bad with lot od senseless rules and regulation

My life in Amrita as an Undergraduate

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE. I got in through JEE since it was better than my AEEE score. with a rank below 3k students might get into slab 1 for any course if they are from bangalore due to local quota....Read More

I have applied for gitam University in banglore I got seat but the fees is very high and when I checked thoroughly there are no placements so I have left and joined other college which I got seat.
