My experience in a college life

I choose political science basing on my goal and to study about current affairs and situations it's very interesting to me. There are many changes that I would like to bring into the society and therefore it helps me to learn more.The curriculum including subjects that can help us to do well and cope with the society. It teaches us how to react to the situation and how we should deal with the situations.There should be more advanced technologies in teaching and more curriculum focusing on mental health and physical health should be provided. The timing should be atleast 5 hours for examination especially on subject that are quite hard.

We pay twice a year according to the semester. For the first semester we paid 9040 which includes 1Tuition fees 500 2 admission fee700 3Development fee 800 4Library fee500 5Uniform2550 6Library development 500 7Bus maintainance 300 8 University registration 200 9Library Caution deposit 1000 10NU affiliation fee150 11Freshers day and parting social 300 Internal examination fees,games and sports fee,water, electricity, internal quality assurance cell, college magazine, session fee, all are included. The fees are equal for all the benchmatesThe scholarship is the National state scholarship where it is given in two installment,total we received around 8000 but for merit they receive more than 10000 and the scholarship for merit students is merit scholarships.

There is freshers day for the new students on July, farewell for seniors on May, cultural day on April, College foundation day, Teachers day. Many books are available in the library, books are arranged accordingly to the subject and other that that many current affairs, newspapers are kept in the library. There's only project in the classroom for teaching. There's very less focus on sports with very less activities. There's a student's run body which is called as the student's body council and there are many other clubs like Eco club,EU, Red ribbon club,NCC,NSS. Sometimes this affect students by investing their time and putting too much efforts which makes them to give less importance to their studies.

Being honest I choose to apply in this college because I heard for seniors that the lectures are quite good and all of the are experienced and moreover to save my parents money. No I didn't apply for any other college and I didn't get any rejection.It was my choice not to apply in any other college and moreover it's very expensive. At first we take forms from the college and then we filled all the information about ourselves and various documents and marksheet are submitted.They select the students basing on the percentage and there's no enterence exam.

Some teachers are quite easy to approach but not everyone of them. Some of them understands the students needs and helps the alot but some are very ignorant. The teachers whom I like is Madam Rose and Madam Ketuo. They're very smart, approachable,and they motivates the students to do well in academics as well as in future.There is no teacher that I don't like but it's just that the two teachers that I mentioned are the best from all of the others.There are two exams i.e, internal examination and external examination but besides that our teachers conduct class test and give assignments.Both the exams are equally important.If we fail to do well in internal exam we won't be able to appear our external exam and if we failed in external examination we'll get detained. More than 5 students got detained in internal examination and around 10 students got detained in external examination

The college starts from 8am and ends in 4pm. There's two shift 8am to 12 and 12 to 4pm. There's a cafeterias where students can afford to buy whatever they like.The college gets close after 4pm. There are two college hostels one for boys and the other for girls. My favourite place to hangout is a bakery nearby our college, staying in a corridor, sitting outside the campus,and roaming around outside the college with my friends. There's also a coffee outside the college and some hotel and shop. It's very safe to hangout at night and during the daytime too.
