Remarks
Positives are placements, you can definitely get a job if you'll ever join this institution. Negatives are no transportation, no accomodation, not autonomous it works under JNTU, so there is a problem of correction and less marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The cource curriculum we follow is from JNTU, the curriculum was a bit Okish. it lacks many things but for an average student, it is quiet good, but if you want to learn more, JNTU syllabus is really poor, self learning is advisable.
Placement Experience
Placements are really really good at this college. You can see an ocean of companies coming every day to the college for placements, some of the companies also offer internship with the job offer, This college doesn't provide any internship specially, they're given by the companies coming. I got a stipend of Rs.5000 in my first internship.
College Events
If you are a big fan of events and fests thst happen at many Engineering colleges and fascinate about them, then this is not the college for you. They give little to no importance to any cultural events. But, you can find one or two events every year named in a traditional way.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I studied it was ok. But. now I think, it is very expensive with more than a lakh of fee per year and also you need to pour in many lakhs to get a management seat here, admission in this college is a bit of a costly affair for middle class
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no good scholarship or any loan facility provided specially by the college. Any individual can get a loan from any nationalized bank which offers an educational loan and can submit the documents here to avail the loan.
Campus Life
Labs are well equipped and good with latest equipment all over but there are not as spacious as they should be. There are many kinds of sports like cricket, football, volleyball, shuttle etc but can only play after college hours. Infrastructure is also good and peaceful
Hostel Facilities
I didn't opt for a hostel, coz there is no hostel facility provided by this college, but you can find many hostels nearby which provide good stay, great food and nice comforts for your day to day activities at an affordable price.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful as far as they can be, the faculty will also give their details to contact them if there presence is needed for any program or a project or any work in which they're good at or make us learn.
Admission
I got the admission through EAMCET exam conducted by the state intermediate board of then Andhra Pradesh Government, now it is Telangana Government. I scored thirty thousand rank in the EAMCET entrance to get into this institution as I'm a BC student. As usual OC students cut off is way less.
Faculty
The faculty of KMIT college are well qualified, many of them are Phd's who do many research related works in the college and also teach. All the faculty are friendly and support you well, of you didn't understand anything.
