Private colleges are neither good not bad.

The curriculum is the best as our institute is autonomous. The college decides its own curriculum based on the current need of the market. We don't study chemistry which is the biggest pro of our curriculum as chemistry is not needed in a field like computer science engineering. Also they conduct communication classes to improve our speaking skills and preparing us for future job interviews.

As I'm new over here I don't know much about the internships but I've heard from some seniors that many mncs offer internships here. Microsoft is one of the bigger recruiter. And the placement head of this college has tied with many people. Also the president of ekume club had told us that if we wanted internships then contact him. So I'm sure that I'll get a good internship and a placement from this college.

As far as I know the college placement is pretty decent in comparison with the surrounding colleges. The average placement is 4-5lpa but the placement rate is higher than those of the others. Personally I am not focusing on a very high placement. I am aiming to become a full time trader in stocks.

There is scholarship provided by the up government based on the reservation. It is around 50,000 to 95,000. There are seats for financially weak as well.

There are many fests but they are held in the other campus, we first years are not allowed in most of them due to our safety. Books and journals are available in the library for us. I participated in the sports event in basketball and football. There are many cultural fests also organized by the clubs. Campus life is pretty average because of the infrastructure and facilities.

The hostels are even worse. The walls are dripping with water. The plaster and paint is wearing off. The washing machines are always out of service. The hostel food is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad. The college hostel is charging more than the surrounding outside hostels and giving much less facilities and hospitality

I wished to get into an nit or an iit but couldn't as I couldn't clear jee mains due to lack of study and hardwork. So I enrolled for aktu counselling and filled many reputed colleges of greater Noida and UP. I wished that I could get into gl bajaj but I couldn't clear the cutoff for it. Butnow I think I was lucky I got into niet because of the autonomous curriculum. The questions in our examinations are limited as the question paper is made by our teachers only. My friends are in gl bajaj and they struggling as they have to study many useless subjects and face harded examinations.

The student yo faculty ratio is pretty good, there is enough faculty available. In my opinion the best faculty is the one who is considered to be the most dangerous one as he beats students often. But in our class he is pretty chill because we don't make much noise and he jokes very often and his jokes are very funny as well. The maths teacher is the worst, he keeps bragging about his 15yrs experience but in reality all he does is teach us mathematics using ppts. The solution is already written in the ppts, all he does is just dictate the solution. There are a total of three sessional exams and one end sem exam. Two of the sessional are conducted offline and one is conducted online on codetantra app

Night life is the worst, the last time for hostellers to report back in the hostel is 6.30pm. after that we can't go outside the campus. The campus is so small like very small as only first year students are present here. There is no gym and no such hangout place, just a small ground and a basketball court.
