Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is pretty simple. You have 3 exams 2 cats and one FAT( final assessment test). cat is for 50 marks and fat is of 100. Cat marks are converted to 15. so 2 cat has a weightage of 30 and fat is converted to 40. 30+40 is 70. now rest 30 is either 2 quizzes 1 digital assignment or 1 quiz 2 digital assignment. 30+40+10+10+10=100.
Placement Experience
Everyone in college gets placed one way or another. Some go to mass companies with packages of 3.3 L to 5.6 L. Some go through dream company with a package of 5L to 10L and some with super dream company of 10L+
College Events
every week they have some events but there are 2 big events 1.Reviera which come in the winter sem and another is Gravitas which comes in the fall semester. Riviera is a 4-day event with night concerts and Gravitas is a tech fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It costs me 12L for 4 years including mess and hostel facility. I also have a 1L scholarship so I am studying for 11L. But if your rank is further say 60-70k you might have to pay double of what is fees for normal ie 23-24L.
Fees and Financial Aid
if your rank is b/w 1-10K you will get a 2L scholarship on 12L fees. And if you have a 10-20k rank you will get1L a scholarship on 12L fees. if your rank is above 20k rank you will not get any scholarship and might also have to pay higher fees. They also provide bank loans in college at a low rate of interest.
Campus Life
There are many clubs and chapters to choose from ranging from finding creativity to helping in ngo. There are many international chapters to choose from like ISTE, IEEE, SEDS, etc. You get to learn new things and get a chance to visit other countries and compete on an international level. NGO clubs gives you a lot of work and you get to go to a different place and meet different people.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni helps in informing us about their struggle and experience. They tell their stories about how they tried their best for placements and what to do what not to do while in the interview. They are helpful in their way if you try to be in touch with them.
Admission
I gave entrance exam VITEEE. I got selected and got 10000 rank in exam. I got necessary details like what is the fees structure and what is my course probability. I went there waiting for my turn to come. At my turn i was shown available courses i could take. I took the course and went to pay my dd. There they took photo of me and I got acceptance letter
Faculty
The faculty is super chill. Some of them are strict about attendance but rest assure they are helpful. They help in projects. Teaching skills are good and if you have HOD as faculty then you are lucky. They help you a lot even in placements
