- The thing that i like about my college is that it supports each and every student and fulfil their requirements too . The professors and staff are very supportive towards the students and help them in each and every situation.
- The faculty is best in their fields . They teach you like you're a beginner and make you understand everything.
- The infrastructure of college is the representation of old universities and day by day changes are made to make it more pretty.
Dislikes
- The Dean office members are quite rude towards students .
- There are certain students who just walk in their on ego
- Semester exams timing is not accurate. They just conduct within 4 or 5 months .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course bcom is the most suitable for person from commerce background. It doesn't feel like a burden and anyone can study it with less pressure. It is practical in nature . The things that we learn in bcom are directly applies in corporate world. The few improvements that should be made are like students must made aware of the real world application. How the things will be applied in real corporate offices . The exams are not so difficult they're moderate. Even a person with non commerce background can pass .
Placement Experience
The placements in undergraduate course is not much but yeah the college have placements that are good at their level for post graduates. Average package is 4.5LPA .From the 3rd year a person become eligible for placement. A undergraduate from bcom gets around2.5LPA - 3.5 lpa as a beginner.
Fees and Financial Aid
While admission you have to pay 5277inr. It includes your semester 1 fees. After that per semester fees will be 3500 around. That you have to pay 2 times a year. There are scholarships available for student with financial issue . The eligibility criteria to avail the scholarship is 75% attendance per semester. And there are certain documents like caste certificate and income certificate to get scholarship.
Campus Life
The overall social life in my college is actually good. They organise various fests , programs for students . They're certain groups also formed that are called as student committees. The library is recently modified and not it's more helpful for students to go and study .
Admission
First of all , lucknow university has the best faculties rather than going for any other college it has best faculty in very reasonable fees. The college fees is nominal for everybody. Even for lower income groups it provides scholarship as well as hostel facility. I never had any other option .LU was the only college that i applied to and got admitted. The admission criteria is just you have pass your 10th and 12th from any board . You must have all the relevant documents to sit in exam. After that exam you'll get admitted.mostly the cut off goes around 60 70 for general category.
Faculty
The faculties except a few are very very good and supportive. They're very approachable and helping in nature. Even with the students who could not attend classes due to their competitive exams they're very nice. But some of them just very few of them being rude. The best professor is ranjeet sir who teach banking in bcom.
Night Life
I think LU is the most beautiful college to appreciate at night. You can just roam around your campus and feel happiness. It's so much prettier as if like a monument. The cafeteria specially commerce canteen has the best Chinese food that anyone can look around for. The famous place at LU is fine arts area it has the places to explore and admire.
