Entrance Preview
Indraprastha University Entrance Exam, I opted for BBA because I was interested in this course. Well the experience of admission was good but there are lot of things which need to be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was fair enough to teach the students the basics of the course but it was not able to keep them updated with the recent advancements. For example the Business Studies books are just like one need to cram the things and write down them in exams without understanding the concepts thereby making the subjects boring.
Internships Opportunities
No,Moreover the facility of internship facility was also not available in my college and where ever the student opted to go for training student did not received any stipend. Instead student had to pay for training or they used to have some jack or approach to go for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement facility was only available for few bright students and not for average or below average students. This is not good for sustainable improvement of the society. Moreover the opportunities are also very less due to which most of the student doesn't know what to do after college. Companies like HCL, QUATTRO came to our college for campus hiring. The interviews of lot of students were conducted but only few have been selected. The procedure for selection was tough as students were not been prepared for the interview. Due to global slow down only few companies came in campus. The offerings and package was also not that much attractive.
College Events
Farewell, Freshers party, Fashion show etc. alot of event were celebrated during my tenure and it was great experience to be the part of the college. All of the events celebrated well. Apart of this all the festivals were celebrated in college. Management was aware and involved in all the activities. It was collective effort of all the students and teacher to make all the events a great success.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to me there was no such facility available in our college however small scholarships were there.
Campus Life
Atmosphere was good and equal ratio was there in college for boys and girls. There was proper security of girls in the college. And all the girls were freely allowed to express their views. There was good relation between the college mates and this has been done just because of well established discipline in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes Seniors were helpful and cooperative. They had given equal space to us and all the juniors to take our college to a new level. It is only because of our seniors that we were been able to be familiar with them and we are able to survive in the college. They also told us how to meet the future challanges outside and how to counter the porblems.
Faculty
Faculty was qualified and professional. All the teachers are well qualified and they have all those qualities which makes them good teacher. Teachers are cooperative as well. They were helpful and they were with the students whenever they required them. T
