Entrance Preview
I had taken admission onthe basic of plus 2 scores. I had scored 75 percent in plus 2 examination. The interview and course selection process was on the basis of percentage descending. My first preference was electronics and communication and by god's grace i was able to get into the course of my choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was very impressive to see the way the whole four year program was structured. The first year had common subjects for students of all the branches. Second year onwards the subjects were based upon the respective stream selected.
Internships Opportunities
College campusing would begin from the 6th semester onwards. Reputed firms were invited for the same as CTS,TCS,techmahindra etc. These companies also gave us stipend of 5000 per month while on internship in the 8th semester.
Placement Experience
In my batch we had around 95 percent placement in reputed companies like CTS,TCS,techm microland Hcl niit tata indicom etc. Packages for freshers at time ie 2007 was on an average 3lakhs per anum. Selection procedure included written exam then group discussion and then personal interview. College had given us a program to prepare for campus too.
College Events
Besides the syllbus and regular classes there were a lot of event celebrations too. Each branch had their own even and then a final overall college event was also organised. Each fresher batch had a welcome event whereas the passing out a farewell event. But the most exiting was "kalrav"-the college fest where we used to have a guest singer and dance night. It was awsome fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In our times the fee was 1.2 lakh.
Campus Life
Well to speak on the gender ratio. i guess there was a perfect balance maintained. About 60:40 boys to girls. The best of the college was its location. Situated amidts mountains it was a perfect view to soothe your eyes. The campus was also big enough to relax during leisure times.
