It was a good experience.

I choose this course because I didn't get good marks in other subjects. In other words, I forced myself to took this course. So to say, I'm majoring in sociology honours, we get to learn about how should society bahaves or things related to real life. In exams, we get 3 hours to write for the majors, 2 for the other subjects. To be honest, we suffer during major papers because everyone cannot write fast and even though if we know the answers, we failed to write everything we know because of the time limit.

I think we have internship opportunities available but I don't understand the names. sometimes the college offers some tiny jobs or task to the students to be more creative, as well as to know how to solve things.

We paid 4500 or something for the 2nd semester and will be paying 5430 for the 3rd semester. Tuition fees per every semester is 500 and the registration fee was 200 in the first semester. College development per each sem is 800and also the library fees were 200 (Valid for 4 years).And we also charges absent fines during sports or any activities for the absentees and the amount was 100 per day. Fees are all the same for everyone. We have merit scholarships and also some others but I don't remember. And we used to get two installment. we get 2100 in each installment.

We have cultural literary programmes through which different tribes have come together and celebrated the organised day.The programme was held in the month of March and this year,it's going to be on the 12 of March We do get many books we need but at some point, when we searches books for some purpose, we can't be able to find it,is it because it's there or not or we didn't search properly, I can't say that.But in the library, I think many books are available. In each classrooms, we have a projector, a fan as well as lights. College offers different activities during sports week including football, volleyball and basketball. And also one thing, at the end of the year(before exam) we used to have departmental design competition by making Christmas trees ,and also there were shops maintained by own department during that day.

At first, I didn't think of any other colleges than this one.But after the HSSLC result came out, my marks were not good enough and I start panicking whether I'll get admission in this college or not.But I've prayed and applied it , and I can see my name in the selected list and it was because of God. I choose this college as my first Target because it is government as well as the faculties are not that bad and also I'm just a boy from a poor family, dats y I choose this college. A student who has more than 45 percent in the subjects can be eligible to take up honours in my college. And also we have categorised it into 3 categories such as .Category A, it is reserved for the indigenous inhabitants of kohima with 40 percent reservation. Category B, reserved for those students who passed out of schools from kohima district (both private and government) with 30 percent reservation. Category C, priority to be given to students of all categories inclusive of all other quota and following government reservation policies

To be honest, the faculties don't give much efforts to students. We can approach anytime. We have 2 exams per semester as internal and external. I should say its easy to pass but not easy to get good grades. In my class(sociology department) 8 to 10 people were not with us, it's because some were dropped and some were unable to continue.

In our college campus or around, there's no gym available but there are 3 or 4 cafes available and also there was a taxi stand where the students rest during free hour. Our college have a boys hostel just below the college. The campus were good and the timings were 4 to 5 during work days and there's no time limit on holidays. For me, I don't have that taste, I just watch girls going in and out from the corridor.
