Course Curriculum Overview

5

The overall relevance of curriculum to the course is very reasonable and wisely prepared. The overall practical and ethical moral skill that the course wants to teach is successfully achieved through the curriculum. It offers both hard and soft skills to the student regarding the course and field of interest. The exams timing is commonly based on regular 6 months basis for each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Campus has just enough facilities for captivating it's students carreer oriented activities such as hostel, mess, library, cyber library and the overall environment of campus. Being the religious capital Banaras gives very positive energies to students preparing for competitions. The placement cell is very active and does all that is required for giving best job opportunities to its passouts The university is the largest residential university in Asia, so hostel Life is going to be very memorable. Cultural fests and competitive competitions are regularly being organised for better crowd exposure for the students. Being all the positives, an admission seeker must keep in mind the traffic, high competition in hostel allotment, high rental charges outside the campus and lack of campus privacy and security due to Hospitals and pilgrimage sites attracting an ample amount of outsiders enough to disturb the campus's environment.

Campus Life

4

Various fests like Spandan, KaashiYaatra, etc and competitions, cultural meets, sports meets make the campus life way more interesting and memorable. The diversity of students from various regions of pan India make the exposure of crowd very amusing. Infrastructure of the university is good. Wifi , water, electricity, roads, hostel rooms, mess, canteens grounds, parks, library etc are good and regularly maintained. Various cultural and social clubs are also very amusing. My overall campus life is just amazing!!

Hostel Facilities

3

I am residing in hostel and it's fine. Any problem or repare request is duly heared by attendants and wardens and are also solved. Registration is like every other colleges with self declaration and dossier to be submitted by student to concerned authorities. Meal quality is average. Hostel room is provided with followings for 2 students: 1table,1bed,1chair, 1almirah for each student and1fan,1window in common.

Admission

This college is better than other colleges in various ways such as: * Hostel facilities and availability of resendencial facilities. * Reasonable cost of course and scholarship opportunities. * BHU tops in national college rankings. * Placement scope is also very attractive. * Overall cost of whole course including hostel charges are way more reasonable as compared to other colleges in respect of what the quality and standards of education it offers that too with spiritual moralty.

Faculty

4

The student to faculy ratio is slightly lower in main campus as compared to south and affiliated colleges. Renowned professors like RS MEENA, HK SINGH, etc. are teaching there in every faculty. The exam structure includes : 1. Assignments are given in every subject per semester 2. PPT presentations are required to be presented regularly. 3. Attendance based markings are also seen by some professors 4. Sessional exam is conducted for each subjects per semester whose marks are included in final marksheet 5. Lastly, final exam is conducted of 70 marks. 30+70 is the structure for clearing exams including sessional and semester exam respectively. I'm cases of back, exams are conducted in the manner of respective odd or even nature of semester one have back in. For example-A student fails to clear exam in 2nd semester then he/she have to clear it in upcoming 4th semester alongwith their regular exams. But datesheets are always constructed in such a manner that both regular and back exam can be successfully conducted.

Night Life

3

The entry of outsiders is restricted after 10 pm to 6am. Nightlife is quite and soothing. Library is open even in night Gym is closed on 9pm. Hostels have timing for closing gates at 10pm to 5 am for boys , and 8pm to 5am for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
