Course Curriculum Overview
I choose English Department as there was no choice left because during the admission, there was no available seats in other departments I would like to be in. There's no proper preparation for real-world applications due to not enough resources. Teaching methods are not that bad, they try to make us understand even in different languages.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 7,180 during 1st Semester admission and 1,200 as exam fees. They charged 900 during 2nd Semester admission. There's no extra charges as tution fees as the college is under government registration. I belong to another state, so I didn't avail caste reservation. My friends also had to pay the same as they also belong to the same state.
Campus Life
Here, some events are celebrated, like Saraswati Puja, College Week, Freshers for the 1st Semester students, Farewell for the seniormost students. There are enough books available in the college library for each departments. The college offers a range of sports and extracurricular activities to its students, like indoor games; badminton, tennis, carrom, chess, fitness, yoga. Outdoor games; football, cricket, tug of war, etc.
Admission
I did not opt for other colleges as many of my relatives suggested me this college because of its natural geographic location, not very extreme climate during summer, yet hotter than my hometown. I did not get rejected in other colleges because I did not apply for it. For admission process, There'll be merit lists, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. So, almost all the students get admission into it even with average percentage and it is a good point about the college.
Faculty
There is an average faculties available unlike other colleges. There are a lot of departments available, for all science, Arts and commerce students. Faculties I like are English department as there are enough teachers to coverup the syllabuses.
Night Life
Nightlife is average around college campus, Gym facility is available only in the morning hours, no cafeterias, library is available from 10:00 AM till 06:00 PM. Hostellers are aloud to go out for a limited times a day, both girls and boys hostels are available inside the college campus.
