- I liked the course Curriculum as it is according to the latest industry ready syllabus.
- The teachers are good. They really put effort in teaching specially in first year. Also in exams they give good marks so great cgpa can be achieved.
- The placements are better. In greater noida it is best college in terms of placement.
Dislikes
- The campus is quit small also the campus from outside looks old. Building need renovation and white washing.
- Almost no celebrity come to campus. Very very less fests are organized that too are very boring. No concerts held.
- Attendance policy is strict that too 85% per semester, which is a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is Autonomous so it doesnt follow old Aktu syllabus. Our syllabus is new and according to industry needs. Practical knowledge is focised. Workshops are held for better industry knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
We gave to do internship sfter evry year of course. College also provide internship but only to top students. Internships are available for almost all roles depend on student and their skills. Some companies are swiggy, microsoft etc. Mostly the roles are software intern
Placement Experience
After 5th sem students are eligible for placement. Many companies come for campus placement. Including E&Y, autodesk, amazon, tcs, etc. Placememt rate is around 85-90% Highest package is 55LPA and average is 5.5LPA. My plan is to get a job as a software engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for 1st year in btech is 179100 but from second year it is 155000. Scholarship opportunities are available. UP government scholarship program provide around 60000 rupees. Fees waiver seats are also available for some students who took admission through counselling.
Campus Life
Annual event is held on diwali theme called JAGMAG. And many technical fest and event happens. Many vlubs organise there own events. Library is quit good and almkst all types of books are available. Average facilities are available in classroom such as smartboard, wifi, charging socket etc some classrooms have AC. Sports fest happens every year also all sports facilities a re available. Sports club is very active in college. Many social clubs are there. Ngo and helping clubs are also there.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel 1 bed, 1table, 1 chair, 1almirah and a matress is provided. Wifi is also available. Hostel meal is quite good as comapred to off campus hostels and the mess menu is decided by students through mess commitee. Hostel are given at the time of admission only. Locality is quite good for students to live.
Admission
I applied for many colleges like LPU, SRM and ViT bhopal and have confirm admissions there byt there fees waa high and ROI was not meeting my expectations so chose NIET. Also the location is a great factor. There are two admission processes for my college one is direct through board marks and secondly through Aktu(uptac) counselling. Jee mains exam is considered. The admission experience was average not smooth not hard.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is quit good around 20 students per faculty. They teach very well and efforts can be seen by teachers. Marking scheme is linient. They give good marks. Exams are made from class notes only so they are of medium level.
Night Life
Gym is not that good. Gym machines are old. Cafeteria is really good and affordable also taste is good. Library closes at 7pm in evening. Hostel timing for first year is 6:30 pm but from 2nd year it is 8:00 pm. Best place to hangout is near cafeteria area.
