Likes
- Faculty is really good and helpful. They start from basics if some students don't understand.
- The first year syllabus is really concise and don't have unnecessary subjects like chemistry.
- There are a lot of clubs where you can participate along with sports clubs.
Dislikes
- The campus isn't really big. There are two separate campus, one for only first year student and the other for the rest of the year. And even if we combine both campus, it is till quite small
- There is a lot of importance on attendance in the first year. You have to maintain atleast 85% attendance to not get detained which I find absurd.
- No social life or fest in the college. There wasn't even going to be freshers party for the first year but they did though it was only for 2 hours and we had classes after the freshers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum is quite lax compared to the other AKTU colleges. As our college is autonomous, that's why we don't really have to study unnecessary subjects in the first year like the rest of the college. On top of that, we do get taught coding language more than the other colleges.
Placement Experience
There are campus placement available. Infact, our college spends a lot of money in the placement cells. They put a heavy emphasis on training their students for interviews. There are many students who get into good companies like Amazon, IBM, Microsoft etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college faculty is good and supportive but they keep the first years in a separate campus from the seniors. The first year's campus is quite small and operates like a school. The college is autonomous, so won't have to study unnecessary subjects like chemistry and we get done with exams before the rest of the aktu's colleges. Our college also arranges coding workshop for a whole month after end semester exams. As for the social life, in first year, there isn't really much. You also can't bunk lecture s. Overall it's a nice college from the academic aspects.
Campus Life
Our college is really strict with their first year student so they aren't really allowed to have a vibrant social life. Although, the first year student can join in any club that they want, be it a sports club, arts or tech related club. But you have to go to the old campus after classes are over to do club activities.
Admission
I was admitted through councelling in this college but my reason for keeping this college as an option among others would be that although it's nothing compared to the IITs and NITs, but it is still a good college compared to other colleges in Greater Noida.
Faculty
Professor who teaches my sections are really nice and capable but I have heard from some of my friends from other sections and branches that there's professors aren't all like that. So I feel that it depends on the faculty on how nice and polite they are on an individual basis.
Interview Experience
No, I was admitted through councelling so I did not get to have a group discussion or interview. But students with the direct admission have told me that they applied for the college with their 12th marksheet as a merit
Night Life
There's no nightlife as there are no fest organised by the college. The other colleges around us do organizers events and invite celebrities sometimes but ours never does that. But you can arrange passes from your friends of other colleges to their events.
