THE LEGACY OF JIMS ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT TECHNICAL CAMPUS

I have choose this B.Com(Hons.) course because it provides all the knowledge regarding Business, Finance and management. It has all the aspects which can help you prepare for the real-world problems. These aspects of this course covers three different career approaches but there could be some improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods like there should be more practical teaching than therotical and some more better learning material or subjects should be added in this course.the frequency of exams in this course is moderate and the difficulty level of exams is less than moderate .

There are many companies who offer internship opportunities for the students of our campus like Amazon, wipro, Tata motors etc. there are certain roles offered in the internships like for sales, marketing, HR intern, finance and the minimum stipend given varies on company to company but a minimum is above 8000 per month for internship.

In first year my fees was 1,06,300 in which university fee was 66,300 and college fees was 40,000 and in second year of my college my fees is 96,300 in which 30,000 is the college fees and remaining is university fees and in my third year of college fees will be the same and all my batchmates have to pay the same fees every year.

There are certain annual fests which are organised for students by college and university in the month of February most probably these fests are organised annually, the name of these fests are 'ZEST' organised by a college a full celebrity night and 'ANUGOONJ' by university which is held for 3 days celebrity nights, concerts , performances by selected students so much of fun . The accessibility of books and journals in the college library is excellent, all the things are easily available for students and teachers. The classrooms are also very good in cas of there are projectos, white board, green board and 2 ACs in every classroom of the college. There are annualy and mid sports activities held in the college for inter- department and inter- department sports activities.

I have also applied for other colleges in which I got the seat for this course and those colleges were Ishan college, GNIOT and GN Group of institutions and I got my seat confirmed in those colleges but I haven't taken the admission because There was uniform code in the college and are not that big but in JIMS there is no Dress code and college is big and teachers are very good. The admission process of my college is very simple you can come through CUET OR CET or you can also directly book the seat in the particular course you want to take admission but you should have given cuet. My overall admission experience was good.

The faculty to student ratio of college is good and there are enough teachers for the students and there is no shortage of teachers in the college. Teaches are very approachable and always there for students to answer their questions and solve their problems in my view there are two faculties of my course which I think are the best and the name of those faculties are Mr.Indrajeet singh because he always stands for students and give valuable advice always and our HOD Dr.Shaily Saxena is the best because she always thinks for students convenience and makes things easier for student and I don't think there is any bad faculty in my course but these upper two are the best. There are 3 times exams in a semester first is mid term then special mid term for debarred students in mid term and then end term exams, exams are not that difficult and are on a moderate level. Only very few students got failed in the exams who do not study hard otherwise all the students got passed in the exams.

There is a cafeteria, library and a public sitting in the college where students and teachers can sit and chill.there are a hostel for boys and a hostel for girls also inside the college premises and the timings of college are 9 am to 5 pm.there are some famous hangout spots near college like Chowpati which is a very famous spot for hangout for other colleges also, there is very safe to roam around the college even in night because there are all colleges , universities and PGs all around and totally a area for living of students who came from outside of city.
