Remarks
I have a mixed remark for my college. Academically it's performance is average but they do their best to guide the students. The canteen facility can be bettered, the food is fresh but tastes need a bit improvement. Else everything is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is above average according to me. The stuffs are a bit reluctant but helpful at the same time. The college conducts internal exams as instructed by the Calcutta University.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are not well provided by the college. There is no actual placement cell in the college. But a few companies come for campusing sometimes, but for a few departments only. No, the college doesn't provide for internship as such.
College Events
Events celebrated in our college : 1. Departmental fresher's party; 2. Overall fresher's party; 3. Teacher's day; 4. Independence Day; 5. Inter departmental sports 6. Inter college sports 7. Inter college competitions 8. College annual party.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible and reasonable. The fees for opting gym facilities is also very minimal and affordable. Concession is also granted, for economically poor candidates, on college fees and study materials.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facilities from the State Government is provided to female candidates under Kanyasree Prakalpa. General concessions are also provided to economically poor candidates. Also the candidates can pay the fees in instalments rather than all at once.
Campus Life
There are all kinds of lab facilities for all concerned departments. The central library has a good collection of academic study materials and books from different authors and also has a good collection of magazines and newspapers. Indore game facilities are also provided by the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very poor. The senior students rarely turn up to help the present students. But when they are contacted, they do their best to help us. So they are helpful at times but not easily approachable.
Admission
Admission in this college is based on marks obtained in 12th board exams. A merit list is declared as to public all the names of the eligible candidates who can take admission in this college. Next the eligible candidates have to contact college officials for further procedures.
Faculty
The teaching faculty is pretty above average according to me. The non teaching stuffs are a bit reluctant but helpful at the same time, the library staffs included.
