Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose department of Mechanical engineering as I am interested in designing and automobile.the mechanical engineering course is more like gaining practical knowledge through various labs like strength of materials Lab, workshop and coming to designing side we learnt computational mathematics lab, CATIA

Placement Experience

4

There is a training and placement cell in our college . and the placements are more often hires the software branches like CSE,ECE,EEE . Coming to the branches like CIVIL, MECHANICAL,CHEMICAL , METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING has comparatively less placement oppertunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship students like me get fee reimbursement from state government.where as global catagory students need to pay an annual fee of 1,40,000/-.And students with government employees family need to pay annual fee of 40,000/-.

Campus Life

5

On campus experience is quite good because despite of curriculum there are many other areas that can be learned here .And the are many clubs like sports club, technical clubs , departmental clubs(for each department) etc. The social life gets much better because there will be alot of interaction between students from different places with different mindsets we can learn alot from other.

Hostel Facilities

3

We are allowed to stay In campus hostels only .and hostel rooms are provided like 3 for a room . There is no accommodation fees for staying in hostel. Coming to meals mess food is provided and it could be way batter .

Admission

Admission process in this college is quite simple as I have studied my pre university courses here so its more likely promotion to next class on the basis of grades. The other colleges I applied for had the admission process based on the EMCET rank .

Faculty

4

The six years integrated course is classified in two . The Pre university courses and b.tech . Entire course is semister system and results are given in SGPA ,CGPA . after completion of prr university courses students can choose to continue or to leave to study in other colleges.and the promotion of students from pre university courses is done on the basis of grade(CGPA OF 2YEARS). faculty and students have a medium interaction.fail or pass percentage depends on the department the students are studying like in branches like CSE and ECE the pass percentage is about 80, whereas the pass percentage in branches like civil and mechanical are about 60.

Night Life

4

The campus is a vast area and many hangout places .it fees like every place is a hangout places as there are alot of trees but in summers it's not the case . There is a gym which will be open in the morning from 6 to 7:30AM or 8AM ,at the same time morning activity like walking jogging, gym, yoga, basketball is free for all .and then the college timings are probably from 9AM TO 5PM,it has different time table for different days . There are departmental blocks where the classes will be held .there is super market in campus which will be open from 8AM to 9PM.coming to night life hostels will be closed in the night and no one are allowed to leave the hostel at night unless there is an emergency reason .
