College days will be missed

Since the college is in delhi so a student can get a good ex-poser here, its a central govt university with good faculty & administration.

Jamia Millia islamia is a central govt university thats why i opt for It jamia conducts its own entrance paper for the engineering.

Course curriculum was good its upto the par of IIT's & DTU you get the choice for the elective all the labs are there in the college which is well maintained, not every college has its own labs.

This concept was not there at that time we used to arrange for our internship program if some one not able then the placement officer or professor would help it out.

Placement was good each & every student got placed in our batch all big names comes like TCS, adobe, DRDO, L&T e.t.c the minimum package which was offered was 3.2 lpa at that time highest was gone upto 6 to 7 lpa.

There are both technical & cultural fest in our college basically for the cultural fest is organized by the whole university people from other courses also take part in that, apart from this technical fest is also organised by the F/O engg. & tech. technical fest is not of the IIT level in jamia but its pretty good enough.

The fees is too cheap at my tome it was 7000 to 8000 for the first year & then from second year to final year it varies b/w 6000 to 7000 which was very cheap i guess u get your b.tech for 25000 only now it might has raised little bit.

As the fees is very low so i never get into scholarship or loan thing but scholarship is available for the topper of the batch, additionally for below BPL people scholarship is also there.

Campus life is cool & it completely depends on how proactive you are there are inter faculty matches for every game there are lot of cultural program going on in which you can participate.

Hostel & mess are also very cheap. hotels are clean there are both two & three seater room a non vegetarian will love it but there are very few hostel available & there availability depends on the management criteria.

There is a alumni network in the college but its not too active senior student will help out to he juniors in any possible way there is a alumni network through the training & placement office.

Exam structure is great from my personal opinion as there are two seasonal or mid exam before the main semester which gives ample of time to the student to score well in the semester all the lab practical & exam were not very hectic.

Faculty was great all the professor are of great help, & highly knowledgeable, many had published their own books, some are handling the govt projects also.
