Course Curriculum Overview

THE CURRICULUM IS WELL DESIGNED FOCUSING MORE ON SKILL BASED EDUICATION. WE LEARN MEDIA RELATED SOFTWARES LIKE PHOTOSHOP, PREMIERE PRO, MS OFFICE, CORAL DRAW ETC. WE ARE ALSO TAUGHT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY THEORITICALLY AND PRACTICALLY.

THE BJMC PROGRAM AT JIMS NOIDA EXTENSION COSTS 90,000RS PER YEAR. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE BASED ON ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, WITH UPTO 100% SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENT SCORING 95% AND ABOVE IN CLASS 12, AND PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THOSE SCORING BETWEEN 70% AND 94% .

THE CAMPUS LIFE IS FUN. MANY EXCITING EVENTS ARE HELD IN THE COLLEGE LIKE BOLLYWOOD DAY, RADIO MIRCHI FRESFERS, INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS, DIWALI FEST, DANDIYA EVENT. THERE ARE VARIUOS COURSE RELATED BOOKS AVAILABLE IN LIBRARY.

Admission

I CHOSE THIS COLLEGE BECAUSE I REALLY LIKED THE FACULTY WHEN I INTERACTED WITH THEM. I ALSO LIKED THE STUDENTS, I TALKED TO THEM, THEY WERE WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY. THE COURSE STRUCTURE WAS WELL ORGANIZED TOO, INCREASING MY INTEREST IN THE COLLEGE.

Faculty

THE FACULTY OF OUR COLLEGE IS VERY CO-OPERATIVE, HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING. THEY ALWAYS SUPPORTS US TO THEIR BEST CAPACITIES. THEIR ARE 6 SEMESTERS, 2-3 INTERNALS AND ONE EXTERNAL EXAM WITH A PRACTICAL EXAM. THE BAJMC COURSE IS MORE PRACTICAL BASED FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT.

Night Life

AT JIMS NOIDA EXTENSION , CAMPUS LIFE IS MOSTLY FOCUSED ON ACADEMICS, WITH FEW SPORTS OF RELEXATION.THE CAFETERIA CLOSES BY 7:30 PM. THE LIBRARY SHUTS BY 5 PM. HOSTEL CURFEW IS AROUND 9 PM, AND THE CAMPUS GATES ARE CLOSED BY THEN.

Very good facilities and infrastructure, helpful faculty and decent placements

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

dme focused on practical learning students are given assignbments projects presentations and case studies which help in developing analytical and communication skills the curriculam also encourage participation in extracurriliculam activities.

Good experience with dme

Placement Experience:

Placement for Bajmc at dme are limited compared to some other professional courses. Students usually become eligible for placement opportunities or internships in the final year. There are not many direct placement with major media houses although students sometimes get industry exposure through sessions or visits .

DME THE BEST MEDIA COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My main aim is to become an automobile journalist that is the aspect that influenced me to choose this course. Till the date i dont feel that improvements are needed in curriculam and teaching methods. As faculty is really good in teaching and timely providing notes as it really helps students to learn effectively for theory exams and concentrate on practical skills that are needed to secure good position in reputed firms in future

the curriculum is really good and well made in terms of relevance as it tends to include all the needed industry skills along with a dedicated practical project so students can apply the skills simultaenously. the exams are also easy to prepare for, there arent many in terms of frequency and it allows the students to study as well as participate in other activities.

My honest experience at Delhi Metropolitan Education

Placement Experience:

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

DME- An institution unfiltered

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

My experience of Amity was great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
