Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose automation and robotics for my love in robotics field. The course is very good for robotic enthusiasts . It prepare us good enough for real world applications and we can pursue further academic pursuit easily . There are 2 type of exams - mid sem and end sem exam . End sem exam are taken at last . They are moderate to difficult level

Placement Experience

4

7 Semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited included Hcl, Deloitte etc. Most companies offered around 4-8 Lpa And Around 250+ Placements were made. highest placement was around 18 Lpa And average package was 4 Lpa. Around 30% Placement in Automation and robotics branch . My plan after degree is pursuing MBA from IIM

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 1.3 Lakh rupees per year . First during registration you have to pay around 40k Rupees as a DD . You can also apply for scholarship upto 50k Rupees If You Have Ews Quota And There will be a interview for it in which some students will be selected and around 50k Rupees will be refunded

Campus Life

5

Campus life is pretty good in the college. Anugoonj is the name of the annual festival and many technical festivals are done by various clubs. Mostly all engineering related books are there in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are normal within the college. But it doesn't have basketball court . Indoor court for badminton is also present. Many Clubs are ran by student namely Abhivyakti, Iosc, Gdsc etc

Admission

I chose this college because to it's reputation and infrastructure . I applied to all ip colleges and got mostly all of them. In 1 round i got Akhilesh das gupta institute of technology but left it because of its low reputation. I didn't get admission in Dtu because my marks in Jee was not enough . For taking admission you have to apply in Ipu Counselling after giving Jee exam. the cutoff for automation and robotics branch is around 80 Percentile in Jee mains

Faculty

4

The college Faculty is very good in many aspects. the Ratio between faculty and student is around 1:40 . Faculty student relation is good and they are friendly toward students . they are very easily approachable. I like Faculty Teachers like Ankur Bhargava , Dr Pushp Baghel etc because they are very good and friendly teachers. I dont like strict and unfriendly teachers like Sumit choudhary who are very rude. There are 2 Main exam - mid sem exam and end sem exam . Exams are moderate to difficult . Only 1/2 Students per batch fail to clear the exams. course curriculum is fairly relevant

Night Life

5

Nightlife is very good in the college. Our favourite hangout spot is the maggie stall outside our college where tea and maggie is eaten by students. There is a cafeteria also where students come after class and in lunch break and Go into library for studying . Hostel condition and hostel mess is very poor. The locality is very safe to roam around at night

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
