Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Business Analytics and Data Science is one which includes Theoretical perspective as well Technical aspects too. The nature of this course demands huge comprehensiveness and knowledge revolving around various aspects and this has been covered efficiently within the 4 semesters. The time to time tests and assignments have helped us big time
Placement Experience
BIBS offers an MBA in BADS preparing students for data driven roles from the beginning of 3rd semester itself. With giant recruiters like PwC, HDFC, KPMG, Deloitte etc have been repeating their hiring process in our college. The highest package offered has been 13.6 LPA with an average of 6 LPA. With strong industry collaborations and hands-on experience students get careers in IT, Finance, Consulting, etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The payment structure has been divided into 6 installments with around 100000 per Installment. The admission fee was around 66000 The 1st instalment was around 72000 The 2nd instalment was around 110000 The 3rd instalment was around 100000 The 4th instalment was around 100000 The 5th instalment was around 100000 The 6th instalment was around 100000
Campus Life
Campus life at BIBS is vibrant, blending academics and other sports, events and student-run clubs. The classrooms feature projectors and Wi-Fi. I have been a part of Music and Media club fostering skill development and networking.
Admission
I have not applied in other colleges but the admission process has been great in BIBS. The counsellor has been a great help during my Admission and has helped me with orientation process as well and the start was so great that I could guess the journey was going to be fantastic too.
Faculty
The faculties are giants in their respective fields. The command they have in their fields and kind of knowledge they attain is absolutely phenomenal. The examination structure is also good enough and marking schemes have been great. We undergo semester examinations and thus 4 semesters in total. It has never been an issue in passing the exams as the questions are related enough to whatever has been taught in class and the kind of examples we learn.
Interview Experience
During the admission process, my counsellor was extremely motivational and helped me to go through the round of PERSONAL INTERVIEW in the smoothest way possible. The interview included my HoD as well who asked very generalised questions regarding my past work experience and the tools I have used there to asses if the Technicalities required for the course can be easily coped up or not.
Night Life
Well the night life was not very much required as we had our timings balanced. However, there were instances like the nights before the big events like Convocation, members of Media Club and Placecomm had to stay back till a bit late and create a structure on how the proceedings would be. In the process we had to be in that locality at night without any hesitation and without any problem
